This comes, of course, as a total shock.
Do you mean to tell me that Attorney-General Ashcroft showed no concern for the civil rights of minorities and women?
Here's the sad part. This is one of the main reasons that many Americans vote for Republicans. This is exactly what they want the Justice Department to do, or in this case not do.
Posted by James E. Powell at November 13, 2005 01:19 PMAre you not reading anything but your own postings? No one wants to read your unsupportable GOP spin drivel.
----------------------------------
The fact that you keep having to delete them PROVES they are not " unsupportable drivel".
Ah, but they are! Do you see anyone coming to your defense for being removed from my post? No. You don't.
Actually there was, but of course you deleted that too. You have people in this site properly brainwashed (although I doubt they needed much of a push in that direction).
BTW, when is an actual transcript drivel?
When it comes from someone who doesn't leave an email address like you
LOL!!!! Leaving an email is the standard of truth more so than an actual transcript. BTW, I'm not that stupid as to give you my email.
I'll save you the trouble of kicking me off and I'll leave voluntarily (for now).
And since your going to delete this, I'll address you personally:
The last 2 days have proved to me that our side has nothing to worry about. You are so devoid of any plausible argument to support your position that you cannot even provide a link to the interview you reference because the actual content proves you to be a liar, you have to constantly delete my posts that show you to be a liar, and when that irritates you, you come up with a stupid argument about needing my email address to be able to post (which is optional according to what is displayed on the screen. You seem to have a problem reading things don't you).
You are a complete and total coward when it comes to knowing the truth. BoB K. was exactly right when he compared your mentally to that of a dictator. I hope at some point in your life you grow up to join real adults in the real world.
So long.

Posted by James E. Powell at November 13, 2005 03:05 PMI think TRT forgot which blog he was ranting on. When you spew bile 24/7, it's a fair job keeping track of who you hate.
Posted by tempus at November 13, 2005 03:18 PMThank God, I thought he would never leave. What ever you did or did not do Steve, keep it up.
Posted by Judith at November 13, 2005 03:26 PMHe's just suffering from cognative dissonance Steve. Regardless of their bluster, reality always has a way of confronting even those who most severely wish to evade it.
Posted by rlp at November 13, 2005 04:30 PMForcing himself to believe all the Bushit, and then preaching it as truth, has driven that poor soul mad.
Posted by Sharon at November 13, 2005 05:01 PMSteve: Not to disturb the fraying of this thread, but if you'd like to get a good look at different administrations doing "what they want," search for EEOC v. Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps (9th D.C. No. CV 00-01322 FMC) regarding compulsory arbitration in at-will employment. Originally filed by the EEOC during the Clinton Admin. in 1999, the case was taken up for reconsideration by a special en banc panel of the 9th Cir. under the EEOC of the Bush Admin. Rather than address the retaliation issue at hand which the Circuit had not addressed, the EEOC folded up it's tent in 2003 rather than pursue it's original claim. Of note is Justice Pregerson's scathing dissent, along with the fact that the panel was so hurried in its conclusion that it got the name of the plaintiff wrong, and cited one federal statute while quoting from another unrelated statute.
Posted by Donald Cormac at November 13, 2005 06:30 PMDing Dong, the Real Truth is dead! Whew. With supporters like that, no wonder Bush League is feeling the pinch.

It sounded a little bit to me like the reported incident where Putsch came up to Al Hunt in a restaurant while he was there with his family, and proceeded to curse them out in the middle of the restaurant.
A bit embarrassing to know that the person throwing the tantrum isn't even aware of how much of an ass they're being.
Coming from this troll, who does nothing but spin GOP talking points, just adds that extra level of surrealism that you expect from good satire these days.
Posted by (: Tom :) at November 14, 2005 05:53 AMOk I’ll bite, so what? Are there many cases of Blacks being denied voting rights out there? Surely we would have heard about them outside Justice Department channels, say the ACLU or the NAACP for example? And before you all launch into the stratosphere, please present some FACT-based accusations and not some PERCIEVED accusation like those lies about Florida in 2000 or the Ohio in 2004. Show me some voters who were turned away because of race and I will join you on the protest line, TODAY. Also why should we not have to present a picture ID to vote? I don’t care who you are in society you must have an ID in order to work, bank, and shop it is not a stretch to require one for voting.
