Small correction. Hadley, as National Security Advisor, is the head of the National Security Council (NSC). You should be saying "NSC mouthpiece". The acronym NSA is for the National Security Agency, which reports to the DCI (Director of Central Intelligence). The NSA is the country's crypographic center, responsible for keeping all US signals secure and breaking foreign government signals.

I have no idea why Libby's lawyer is so happy about this. It seems to me this would make the conspriacy charge on his client more likely to stick to his client. After all, a conspiracy of one... ain't.

Hadley's bio certainly puts him close to many of the relevant topics.

Interesting how many other NS Advisors, or equivalent, have ended up in the hot seat for one reason or another...

As per the comment two comments up, I'm still confused about the NSA/NSC references in your post. As to whether it's Hadley or not, I couldn't be happier if it turns out he's the guy. Because that means another one of the Cheney cabal just brought Fitzgerald back inside the walls of the White House - which is clearly not what Bush, Card, Hughes and the rest of the Texas Mafia want. It couldn't happen to a better bunch.

this makes for a great trifecta if you ask me: hadley, libby, and rove. indicted for perjury, misleading statements, conspiracy to leak classified information etc etc. and maybe an espionage charge thrown in for good measure. and good riddance to them all, it can't happen soon enough.

I also wanted to add, that if, as now seems true, hadley gossiped I mean leaked to woodward, I have a feeling that Fitz may stumble on to some connections between hadley, italy and the fake niger documents.
