"Do you think Republicans are generally logical, or generally fools?"
Love to see the results on that one.
Posted by Jonathan at November 23, 2005 06:35 PMJonathan,
Is that a trick question?
Posted by smooth at November 23, 2005 09:01 PMWell as an independent I am glad the country is waking up. I woke up3 years ago because of the internet. As an European born American, I was more skeptic about Iraq because the march to war was a little to quick and seems backward. You do not put your troops on the boarder and then ask for help at the UN. I am a C-span and Free speech TV watcher and cannot believe what I am seeing. This Republicans congress has to go. They are the most corrupt in History of the Nation. We have to get back sanity into the congress. Are we not their employers? They laugh at us when they destroy any laws that where put there for the middle class to help the over $300,000 earners.
Happy thanksgiving to all and remembers all the soldiers who are fighting a war for oil.
Interesting results, but 68% of republicans are still deluded.

Republicans
logical=0.87%
Fools=99.13
Again, the question must be asked, how low is the floor on Bush? I'm still holding out for 29%. People can jump off of high bridges into deep water wearing cement suits and have a survival rate higher than 29%! LOL
Posted by rlp at November 24, 2005 11:14 AMI have no confidence in polls, but I believe the stats offered in these comments about Republicans being fools is roughly accurate. Sampling methods are suspect, etc, etc. No confidence in them or -- especially -- the reporting of them.
Let us hope that Americans aren't as stupid as the polls suggest. Take for instance that 91% of Democrats responding to this poll allegedly do not trust anything the Bush Administration says. Did these same Democrats vote for the Democratic politicians that uniformly (save Russ Feingold) voted in favor of the original Patriot Act? Did these same Democrats vote in favor of John Kerry - who voted to give Bush the authority to conduct the war in Iraq in 2002/3? Will these same Democrats vote again for Democrats that oppose a filibuster on Scalito?
Pray the polls are not true -- because it would, in effect lead to questioning about the intelligence of Democrats as much as it would beg the question whether or not Conservatives are as stupid and/or evil as they appear to be.
