I made these observations about these orders a couple of night ago when they first surfaced here courtesy of peter and bagley.
One minute's research of the FISA statute made abundantly clear this "warrantless" section of FISA was inapplicable to communications involving US persons. Drudge must be an unreliable hack based on this.

For Republicans to say that Carter and Clinton also did wiretapping similar to what Bush did,is the typical spin machine job that they did on Kerry through Swift Boat Veterans. The trick is to state lies extensively and people will eventually believe them. It does work for them and they will keep doing it until it stops working.
