an agnostic president! we've never even had an agnostic candidate. yeah, religious folks sure are discriminated against in the US.

benjoya - we've probably had plenty of agnostic Presidents -- just none with the integrity, honesty and cajones to admit it. Do you really think that Cheney believes in God? To do so would also be to recognize that by all conventional standards, God would send Cheney's soul to burn forever in hell.

John B. - hard to know with GWB -- he's got the narcissistic, messianic thing and he's been playing the role for so long that he's probably convinced himself that he's doing God's work (as transcribed for him by Cheney and Rove).
