Comments: Bush's Lack Of Solutions And Failings Are His Own

From the WaPO: Blogs Attack From Left as Democrats Reach for Center Jan 28

This whole article is so sad because the author, along with the other DLC-types, presumes that Bush has found a good way to fight and win the War on Terror. Sorry, but he's done no such thing. The incidents caused by "terrorists" (A vaguely-defined term) have grown every year since 2003 and the casualties from such incidents have grown right along with them. The DLC has been utterly unable to figure out a way to deal with this.

The Democrats want a nice, presentable figure to answer the SOTU, a politician who has no experience that's even slightly related to the WOT or any branch of the military. Picking Murtha would have allowed the Democrats to point out that Bush's policies have been an unmitigated failure.

We're never going to succeed with the DLC occupying the leadership positions in the Democratic Party.

Why doesn't the Smirk & Sneer administration have a plan?
.
They and the media cry so hard for Dems to have a plan is because they have no fucking clue what to do. They're terrified they really will have to clean their mess this time. THey'll have to fight and eat each other.
.
Like spinning back the Abramoff scandal, Dems have to remind everyone that it's a Republican House, a Republican Senate that the Republican pRez and Republican-friendly media are labeling as 'obstructionist'.
.
This disaster w/freeding frenzy is going to be majestic. I didn't make nor do I own any of it. I fought it every step of the way. I've mourned my dead and made peace with my enemies. I'm entitled to put my feet up now, come what may. When the SS Bushtanic sinks, I'm going to watch it go like it's the Poseidon Adventure meets Jaws.

Forget the polls. They mean nothing.
