That video is still being hammered onto Bush by the networks. My ass they don't know where it came from. It came from Brownie.

If Bush is back, and the underlings are doing as they are told, we are truly screwed.

Evacuate the entire Eastern seaboard, along with the Gulf Coast. Do not wait for Chertoff to tell you what to do. You will be swimming upside-down by then.

Can anybody tell me if George Clooney is gay? Noth that I give a shit. I just want to know. We know Bush is beyond gay, he has no sex or heart. Why is anybody surprised that Bush knew about Katrina? He knew about 9/11 and did nothing to save lives. He's a monster.

I know why Little Boots never asked a question in the FEMA briefing that warned the NO levees would break: he was hung over.

A six week bender at the pig farm and he returned to work 2 whole days early, well, that's just not enough time to detoxify his widdle 5'8", 150lbs. frame of all that beer and weed.

Bush didn't know what planet he was on.

Posted by bbtb at March 2, 2006 05:33 AM

You show a President a PDB that says an attack is coming, and what does he say? He says "nobody could know". You give him expert briefings about an impending natural disaster, and what does he do? He says "nobody could know". You ask him when he will end his war, and he says "nobody could know". You ask where is Osama bin Laden, and he says "nobody could know." You ask if he knew Jack Abramhoff and he'll say "nobody could know".

When nobody knows, it's called a secret.

I was so furious at Kato and Tweety last night that I came damn close to throwing something at the tube. After the Katrina film clip she said something like, "Well, that's government, and we know it just doesn't work." Shrum said that of course it doesn't when the party in charge hates government, but he should have taken that pony and ridden it into the dust. My gods, could you ever be given a more open invitation than that and respond - let me think about it? Jeez, no wonder we are in such bad trouble in this country. Even the opposition party can't or won't lay the truth out on the line. Chris continues to ask if Bushco is distracted or off its game the past few months.........it hasn't changed at all, this administration has been an economic, humanitarian, criminal and ecological disaster from the beginning. Of course the fact that Cheney, Hadley and Rove are all in Fitz's crosshairs right now can't be reassuring. Does the scope of his investigation allow him to indict Cheney et al for trying to destroy those emails? Congress is so impotent, he may be our last, best chance.

All right. Late for work as usual, but no one seems to complain since I usually beat the network admin in by a good half-hour or more. Another day in the life of tech support.

Anyway - you sound like you channeling someone. But not meaning to at the same time. Has anyone checked you for the Summoning Dark?

My ass. Someone was holding on to it and damn well knew what it was going to do.

"We had some footage of teleconfrences before Katrina, but no one's had the motivation to look at them for 5 months."

Bullshit.

bbtb, I did the [unthinkable] and looked on the RNC website a bit ago. I was looking at their newest spin re: the brave Dems who voted against cloture on the UNPatriot Act.

They have videos which I cannot stomach watching even though I have taken all my meds this morning.

Then I saw the attack on Conyers. Conyers is one of the bravest Dems out there, kicking ass and taking names. The only solution that these assholes can come up with is to attack him. Smear campaigns are their signatory achievement.

I am so sick of this crap from these assholes.

Anyhow. My reason for checking their smear campaign against the Dems for voting against cloture is that I am attempting to preempt what I can of their smear by writing letters to the editors.

We gotta help the brave ones and thank them, these people stood up against the UNPatriot Act and voted against cloture (they were not allowed to add amendents to fix the problems due to a procedural tactic by Frist - surprise, surprise):

Have I missed some critical gossip here? I have no idea what you're talking about!

If there are rumors out there that Clooney is gay, I'm sure it's classic Rove "attack your opponents' strengths" due to Clooney's recent comments that he's proud to dissent with the Bush administration and the subject matter of his recent films.

Clooney gay? Do you have any idea how many fantasies could be destroyed with such a rumor?

Posted by ann at March 2, 2006 09:51 AM

Tikiman - you give me hope for my chronic addictions. We should hear more about you some time.

If you want a "second opinion", your building looks like Darth Vader's dick.

Vader's dick would be a compliment. The black color would look way fucking cooler than the 14 colors of Italian red granite this thing is clad in. That the building is owned by an insurance and finaincial services company shouldn't be a surprise. Or that law firms rent the upper 3rd of the buiding for their offices. Everything about this building says I like to screw you with a very large and sharp insturment.

There's more expensive useless ornament clad in brass & more expensive stonework cladding on every surface of this building than all kitchens featured on This Old House in 25 years.

Hadn't caught that side of TIKI before. What really got me was that I saw the same rumor on craigslist this morning. I swear it must be some advanced planning by Rove to preempt any statement Clooney might make at the Oscars.

I hope none of you are counting on a pension (or health care) from the government.

Pension problems threaten state's governments

GOVERNMENTS, FROM city halls and county courthouses to statehouses, face the same pension woes that have pushed General Motors, United Airlines and other private firms to the brink of bankruptcy.

The California Legislative Analyst's Office, the main independent source of data on Sacramento's fiscal plight, has penned a report noting that the state's unfunded liability for providing health care to retired employees ranges from $40 billion to $70 billion. That's almost the equivalent of one year's general fund. If we start now, it will cost another $6 billion per year for 30 years to retire that shortfall.

And the problem is growing because of increased medical costs and the pending retirement of baby boomers. It now costs $1 billion to service retiree health costs annually and could soar to $1.6 billion by 2010.

Benefits for future employees must be reduced, and they should pay more of the cost. We've been too generous. In some cases, pensions are almost 100 percent of a public employee's pay upon retirement. That is excessive.

Assemblyman Keith Richman, R-Northridge, has proposed a sensible plan to set the age at which retirees get full pensions and benefits to 65, or tie it to the age for Social Security benefits. Health benefits should supplement Medicare, which would be less costly.

George Clooney is not gay I found out. Even if he was, it ain't nobody's bidness. Talked to thousands of people today and yesterday as I conducted my Presidential campaign swing through south Arlington, VA. Everybody hates Bush in the Republic of Arlingrad. Everybody has a plan to get out to far off places with comfy gulags. One AA chap who wrote me a big check for my campaign said he's escaping to Croatia. Many folks are bailing for Ireland. One woman gave me a check for fifteen hundred dollars if I'd stop bothering her. I did, and the money is in the bank. Her destination? Finland. Nobody wants to go to Canada since a Bush clone is head man. Have a nice Sunday, my constituents to be! I'm running on the Tobacco Party ticket: Smoke Now,Blend in with the pollution!
