Comments: Liar, Liar

Pessimist:

A question--
I first saw the reports of Swarm "fizzling" in a Time Magazine on line report linked to the BBC On line. Is Time (co-media with CNN) viewed as one of those publications that accepts the Republican framing and plays to the Bush constituency? I was under the impression it had been like CNN is to Fox News-- so is Time trying to do journalism now, or was it afraid of being scooped by some other organization?

Thank you, Ms. Lydia! You took the words right out of my mouth!

Smarts and beauty - and YOUTH. Maybe people will take your comments to heart.

How do we stop george from doing more damage in the meanwhile? He knows he's in trouble and is on the fast tract to destroying America before he goes to prison.
Gotta stop that man!

Rush is gonna have a nice long burn in hell when his decrepit drug-addled body gives up. I can't wait.

As near as I can tell, Time actually allowed their reporter to present real news. I can't rule out being scooped driving the decision, but generally, the media has been doing a better (no, not perfect, just better!) job of presenting the facts, no matter what Bu$hCo wants, ever since the media conference in St. Louis last year. It's like they had a revival meeting which reminded them what their purpose is in this society.

OK, I'm sold, pessimist, how about a debate on the speed channel between Ann Colder and Lydia Cornell for the redstate male chauvinist vote?

"Gol-lay, she's even purdier than Ann, and she talks reeal smart, too. I'm vot'in democrat this time, Bubba."

It's time! Operation Swarmer was a "complete success," and showed that Iraqi troops can undertake a mission successfully.

Mission Acclompished! Let's go home.

Voila!

Bravo Lydia and thank you pessimist for posting a recap of this brilliant article.

God Bless America,
we need more progressive voices - or just logical voices of purity like this one.
