Comments: Washington Post: As Usual Bowing to Conservative Power

The Washington Post seems to vacillate between being a good cop and a lap dog. I don't really understand how this can be, in that you are either in the WH doghouse, or you are best friends with K. Rove.

There is something going on there that I do not understand. Any ideas/thoughts/insight would be helpful.

I guess if you want to throw people off, now and then you have to play the good cop routine. Wouldn't want people to think you are an ass kisser entirely. Papers can't afford the loss of readership these days.

Judith: Oh, the money thing. I should have given that a thought.

I anxiously await Domenech's take/response to President Pinocchio's reply to the woman's question at the Town Hall meeting in Cleveland, "Do you believe the war in Iraq is a sign of the apocalypse, and if not, why?"

Her uber claiming Christian Commander in Chief did his Nixonian sneering giggle while the audience GUFFAWED. (I think he giggled so hard his Rove ear piece got sucked into his brain)

After wallowing in his "comic relief" he responded with "I don't think I ever thought about it like that."

Does that mean our uber evangelicals won't be donating their guns and double-wide trailers all that soon?
