Comments: More Katrina Lies

Who can possibly be surprised by any of this?

This shit is totally SOP.

The only surprise is that this ongoing graft and thievery of the taxpayer dollar is considered news anymore.

And don't get me started on yet another admin agency giving congress the finger.

"Fuck you congress. We don't care what we said before - doesn't matter now"

Don't we have RICO laws?

The correct question, my friend, is: "Don't we have anyone to enforce RICO laws?"

The Jeopardy answer is: "No, We don't!"

By the way, scout. You might want to check his site out. Follow the "more' link in the bottom corner.

Beyond the Garden District and the French Quarter, New Orleans is a city in ruins.

The clean-up tractors sit idle and the debris from last year's hurricane Katrina is piled up 6 feet tall on some streets.

New Orleanians who are poor, elderly and disabled who remained behind, live in damaged apartments and houses -- many without water or electricity.

This is an AMERICAN CITY, yet post-Katrina New Orleans no longer registers on Bush's radar (if it ever did), unless his handlers need a new photo-op location for a fundraising brochure. Then, they fly Bush to the Crescent City for 15 minutes of glad-handing and "aw shucks" for the camera.

Bush belongs in a Federal prison for failing to uphold his sworn Oath of Office.

OT, BUT IMPORTANT:

I received a letter today from Russ Feingold, along with my letter and a check. I had sent it to the Green Bay, Wisconsin address: Any campaign-related correspondence and checks go to:

Feingold Senate Committee
P.O. BOX 620062
Middleton, Wisconsin 53562
(608) 831-7877

Federal issues of concern to to:

Senator Russ Feingold
United States Senate
Washington, D.C. 20510
(202) 224-5323

Excuse this post if Anjha has already informed you of the above. I am behind in reading TLC the last day or two. Feingold keeps his campaign fundraising separate from his federal office.

NO must be no more important than Iraq.

Meanwhile, FEMA is going after some 50,000 recipients of its $2000 grants for not using it for rent.

They could have prevented alot of fraud by asking for a thumbprint when giving out the goodies.

The bones of the dead still under the debris in New Orleans will be dried up and have blown away before anyone finds them. Another hurricane might help that process. I think that's what Bu$hCo is counting on.
