Apparently, Card was too competent to keep his job.

Correction: Poppy is intensely involved in trying to salvage Bab$' Brat's legacy - or else he sleeps on the couch for a while, if not with the dogs.
Posted by pessimist at March 28, 2006 08:16 AMHad a thought about the 08 election...
Jeb Bush running on the promise to restore honor and integrity to the White House...y'know, get the adults back in charge. (giggle)
Watched Pierce Bush interview with Campbell Brownabout the Dubai ports deal falling through...his response to her comment about the UAE having ties to terrorist organizations was that "one bad apple doesn't make the whole country bad". I'm sure that's what's the rest of the world is thinking about the US right about now. In the vein of Mastercard....P-r-i-c-e-l-e-s-s. (giggle) It's hard to believe but he's even dumber than George W Hoover. He'll probably be the 2012 candidate.

Posted by God Of War at March 28, 2006 08:41 AMCome on you guys, you know very well that Andrew Card wants to spend quality time with his family.
Posted by Judith at March 28, 2006 08:42 AMOne less tool in the tool belt. And it'll be interesting to see what sort of noser fills boltons slippers.
card's only claim to fame will be the picture of him whispering into the ear of a clearly terrified bush on 9/11.
"And this is the moment when president bush's shortcomings were revealed, for those who bothered to look."

[Editor: ignore=off]There's been a high level leaker at the White House for some time, though the leaks have mostly been about style. Andy Card could be that leaker.
Then again, maybe he decided it was time to leave the White House funny farm.

What do you think about this: 'the quality of theleftcoaster has improved from good to excellent after site admin quashed some silly commenting styles.' I think all you guys are now relaxed and showing it by solid writing."
Scout, how true, how true. This site has improved 100% since the Steve put an end to the hijacking of this thread. Thanks again Steve.
Posted by Judith at March 28, 2006 02:45 PMAsk not for whom the bell tolls!
It tolls for Card, and the other Republicans about to get a visit from federal investigators.
Bush was smug in the knowledge that Republicans
controlled all branches of government. The Administration could not grasp in their wildest
imagination that Republicans would be indicting
Republicans while Republicans were in-charge.
After "JacK" gets sent to the can Wednesday, watch for the next line of resignations.
