Posted by Hank at March 29, 2006 03:00 PMI recognize that object you have the photo of above.
It's is a two hosed douche bag with a large squeeze bulb on the top...

Posted by TIKI AL at March 29, 2006 03:49 PMI put up some video snippets of this on CanOFun- it was a field day for dumb things he said, probably because he didn't have his book in front of him for answers and had to, uh,... use his brain.
Posted by COF at March 29, 2006 04:18 PMSo, after a week on bedrest and inability to sit up, blah, blah, blah - I have been able to witness live (via the SPAN) all of the BS attacks from the Repukes.
They said crap like, "gee, I'm glad the Dems have figured out what we've been doing all these years."
HUH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Now, I pay attention very close (especially when I can do nothing but lay here and watch the SPAN - luckily today I moved my computer and now have comfy chair access) and I have watched more of the same in the House. I must say that the Senate (which is always more civil) has come together in bi-partisan ways and has made some progress. Lobbying reform was voted against by Feingold and McCain (7 others too) because it did not go far enough, but at least something was done. Most of it is smoke and mirrors due to loopholes etc but it does allow more sunshine on activities done in our Houses. We need transparency.
However, in the House budget committee meeting today it is more party line crap and I am getting mighty sick of the Republi-cons and their lock-step votes.
I am wondering how these supposed adults can look themselves in the mirror when they cannot make a decision without first receiving permission from their memo from the WH?
I could not tolerate listening to Jeff Sessions (can anyone ever?) so Spit Matthews is now on (plus I like to see the newest spin and compare it with what I have actually witnessed occurring) and apparently the Religious Right is still under attack.
This fucking Repukelicon Party is always touting all of this "personal responsibility" rhetoric and in the same breath being constant victims; someday people will figure this out and see these whining corporatistst for what they are.
On another note, I just wanted to let ya'all know that Congressman McDermott was royally fucked by Boehner yesterday; the criminal got away with his crime and now McDermott owes him 700K.
I really cannot stand the preznit continuing this "s'not my fault" crap...our Country is in big trouble.
Oh - thanks for the rant. Took a lot of energy. Supposed to be pacing myself a getting back on my feet s-l-o-w-l-y.
Posted by Anjha at March 29, 2006 04:31 PMSpit Matthews just confirmed that "he believes" their is a war on Christianity. WTF is wrong with these people? Oh - and did ya know that Tom Delay's legal problems are because he is a "Christian"?
Oh, crap sorry - this shoulda been in OT - let me tie it in....
Bush's war is the new Crusades (with nice war profiteering perks); let's just all call it what it is, then maybe hee can defend it in the correct way.
Posted by Anjha at March 29, 2006 04:45 PMAnjha, welcome back - feeling better, I see. Yay! I see the "war on xtians" meme as a desparate attempt to herd the base back into the corral. I think it's having less and less effect as even the "true believers" are losing their faith in the 'pukes and their Party of Death.
Posted by iamcoyote at March 29, 2006 04:57 PMAnjha, welcome back to the living. We missed your postings.
"What a picture. All he needs are cymbals in his hands and he would look just like a toy windup monkey."
Hank, now that was funny. Had good laugh.
Thanks all. I now have "comfy chair office" intact and Olbermann is on. However, I have to make dinner tonight (wish me luck).
Energy level still very low but I am hoping to actually leave my house some day soon.
I have been doing phone consults, attempting to teach me boss how to do my job, now that is exhausting.
I do believe, Coyote, that real Christians are seeing this for what it is. The ones not caught up in the mega church cultism know that you cannot eliminate all aid for the poor and still pretend to be practicing the teachings of Christ.
The far Right has boiled everything "Christian" down to hating and "curing" gays and criminalizing abortion. If Christ was alive today these right freaks would be persecuting him and he speaking out against their actions.
I'm glad I do not have to deal with all of that dogma. (Yet, American Theocracy not quite completely in power - glad my border is close.)

So desperate that I often worry about something bad happening (see: 9/11) so that they can get what they want.
However, they are so fucking incompetent that I don't think that they would risk another "attack".
Posted by Anjha at March 29, 2006 05:33 PMMaybe this all Joshua Bolten's new media blitz?
Same shit, different day!

Anjha, you are correct. These people curse Christ and His teachings at every turn. I will post my usual response on this subject. You will know them by their fruits of the spirit.
I already posted this earlier, but I am posting again here:
"Hey, Prairewolfette, Tweety said today "I do believe there is a campaign against religion in this country. That's true, it's just true."
I have posted this before, but I think there may very well be some truth in that statement. Prior to Bush taking office, there was not the hatred I see today towards Christians. The worse part of this is that it includes all Christians. Granted, it is a backlash to the wacked-out Fundamentalists, but we all are not in that catagory. Millions of us are liberal Christians, and are pained that the fundamentalist have tarnished our image in the world.
Posted by Judith at March 29, 2006 06:04 PM
Judith, These good Christians and other liberals fight (literally) for the lives of the illegal aliens here in AZ. Some of these liberals are facing trials for aiding and abetting illegals.
Here is an unbelievably true yet sad story about 2 people who where instructed on what to do from a doctor and face punishment for following his instructions.
After I read a story like this, I sometimes have to remind myself I'm really part of the human race!!

Don't worry, Anjha, they won't actually make anything happen, they'll just make it up again:
Ex-Prosecutor in Terror Inquiry Is Indicted
Posted by ann at March 29, 2006 07:03 PMHoly fuck. This budget mark-up meeting is just obscene. These House neo-con Reubli-con assholes need to be voted out of here instantly.
I want to take the video of this to all of their districts and show people what these bastards are doing and how they are behaving.
The Dems have been offering amendments endlessly to actually help the American people and on a straight Party line vote the Pukes have been voting them down.
Hey Vets your insurance payments are going up again. Gotta pay for them tax cuts to the wealthy!
Support the troops (just don't pay them, arm them properly, give them a clearly defined mission and cut their healthcare) sez the Pukes. Just remember on voting day that the Dems are the ones who got your back.
Posted by Anjha at March 29, 2006 07:31 PMI like the Jon Lovitz imagery:
"Um, er, yeah, Saddam did it. That's the ticket!"
Naaaah. You guys have it wroooonnnng. Bush is saying: Laura's ass is this biiigggg!
Posted by Rhonda at March 29, 2006 08:05 PMThat picture is symoblic of what the impearial presidentcy has deteriorated to.
Posted by herbal tee at March 29, 2006 08:30 PMBbtb, thanks for the article. Having very little knowledge about Mexico, I assume that many of these people do not want to leave their communities, but come here to work to send money home to families who are desperate. To make $10.00 an hour, each and every hour, five or more days a week, when you are use to $10.00 for the entire week, is extremely appealing when you need money. God bless those who try to help the ones who suffer because they want a decent life.

Posted by Goyo at March 29, 2006 09:18 PMAnjha; I have watch C-span for 3 years when I am in the US. Yes it is a channel that everyone should see but I lately found Free speech and Link TV’s channels and those two are enlightening.
I did not know you were sick and I add with all that you get well very soon.
I just could not resist, as I do remember Tricky Dick Nixon having a similar stand! He did get impeach!
With polls below 40, Bush has been on the news everyday for the last 2 weeks??????? Why does he always make me feel that he thinks we are idiots? You see him talking, never answer you question, going on a rampage that was never asked? I resent that the most because if it was not for daddy he would be working for Wall Mart!
But I still believe that they knew before 9/11 and let it happen. He was in Florida, like his father’s was in Texas when Reagan was shot. Read the
George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography --- by Webster G. Tarpley & Anton Chaitkin.
Just copy past it, , you will get it. Worth to read.
Here the start!
“INTRODUCTION: American Caligula
The thesis of this book is simple: if George Bush were to be re- elected in November 1992 for a second term as the president of the United States, this country and the rest of the world would face a catastrophe of gigantic proportions.”
I guess we see the result of the madness today except the son his far worst that his father ever was!
Hate to break to all of you hewre, but both the Democtars and Republicans are Leftists. Social Programs have gone up 22% under Bush. the difference is that the republican are Rightwing Socialist and The Dems are International Socialists.
Either way both parties suck!
I think Mike Tyson would be the best president ever!
Posted by Conquistador at March 29, 2006 10:12 PMI guess they ran a poll or a focus group, and the whole "blame the MSM" thing wasn't catching on. Saddam's a bad guy, and easy to hate, so maybe people will latch on this excuse.
Posted by bjohnm at March 30, 2006 05:47 AMNext week it will be Clinton's fault.
Posted by goose1 at March 30, 2006 07:00 AMgoose1 - they were blaming Clinton for this long ago. He was the first guy they blamed - for not taking Saddam out during his eight years. Clinton was soft on terror - Bush was cleaning up after Bill failed. yada, yada.
Posted by T2 at March 30, 2006 02:47 PMSo how is it every time there is a war on Christianity, it is fought in an Muslim country?
