Comments: Mid-Day Update: McCain The Hypocrite

McCain has turned into a total dipstick. I used to have the utmost respect for this old war hero. That was before the 2004 elections and he became ass wipe for Bush.

I wondered just how far this power hungry elitist was willing to bend over and compromise his principles. I found out last week when he crawled out to Liberty University to get the blessings from Jerry Falwell.

Time for that old soldier to take the advice of Gen. MacArthur and "just fade away" before he loses what little public respect he has left.

The problem with focusing so closely on McCain right now is that all of the shock value will be long worn away when the 2008 'campaign' gets going. He will then be well-conditioned in the minds of the people to accept him as the next corporatist candidate who will continue the current policies of conquering the rest of the world to supply the New Rome with luxury.

"False Hoops"?

How does one make false hoops? Is it something like Froot Loops but with no sugar?

Posted by idiosynchronic at April 7, 2006 01:12 PM

False Hoops. Phil Jackson warned me about that.

Posted by benjoya at April 7, 2006 01:29 PM

a little buddhist basketball humor there. i know, very little.

Posted by benjoya at April 7, 2006 01:30 PM

McCain has blown his rep with the left, the center as well as the right. He now stand firmly in no-mans-land. Whatever street cred he gained by pandering has vanished form the base he sold out.

Yet another pedophile. Is this the Bush administration or the catholic chucrch? I can't tell the difference anymore.

This used to be an interesting site-it has grown very stale. Same old thing day after day, page after page. Apparently most contributors feel they have very little going for them as they continue to add nothing but bitterness and hate. For once, at least try to be part of a solution instead of the problem.

Pchute,
God Bless you!
Bored? Go away with your bad self then.

this site has grown stale since the criminality and incompetence of the bush administration ceased being a point of contention. now that we're all on the same page, we can move forward.

with the impeachment.

Charles Lynch, the DoD official indicted on the kiddie porn charge, was not a Bush appointee. His agency bio, easily accessible on the web, indicates he was hired by Defense in 1994 after serving in the USAF. A guy at his level is SES, senior executive service, which is career civil service.

John McCain has become what Jesse Jackson said Al Gore was in 1988: "All things to no people." His only claim left is "electability," but by tethering himself to Mr. 33%, that won't be true for long.

Posted by Brian J. at April 7, 2006 05:24 PM

The McCain thing bugs you, eh? I find that interesting. Why should he enjoy such cachet with moderate liberals do you suppose?

Mark it: McCain-Rice 2008.

That'll beat all.

McCain is scheduled to make the commencment speech at moral leader, Jerry Falwell's Liberty University. Lies that cause people to have faith being moral and how the new grads are now fully trained in morality will probably be it's center piece. However he could sieze the opportunity to announce that the Bible is a proved hoax. He knows all about that. But that wouldn't pander to the audience that would surely be shocked by the news. Not really. They know all about it. They found out at http://www.hoax-buster.org McCain has an even better source.

As soon as McCain and other politicians find out that everyone knows the Bible is a proved hoax they might just have a little change of direction, a little less arogance and a lot more public servant in their attitudes. It's just a matter of time.

Do you now see what I mean? Please grow up!

This is what I am talking about. Are you blind, or just refuse to see?

Posted by Pchute at April 7, 2006 06:58 PM

Bye Pchute.

And Ray Zacek, who said the guy was an appointee?

And Toby, please, I hope the GOP runs a McCain/Rice ticket in 2008. That would be great,...for Dems.

And Pchute, speaking of people who apparently feel that they have very little going for them, since you have been visiting this site, you have used three (3) separate ID's: Corsair, Talon(s), and now Pchute. Are you having an identity crisis?

If so, do it elsewhere, and use someone else's bandwidth for your therapy.

Rice on a Republican ticket. Everytime she opens her mouth, she's going to cost McCain 10k votes minimum.

Posted by herbal tee at April 7, 2006 07:34 PM

Steve, love it when you expose these guys. Continue to keep us informed.

LOL! That's the funniest thing I have heard in a while. A true multi cultural ticket to make the fundamentalists (now at 55% of the GOP) sit home in '08. The more the GOP talks about this kind of stuff, the more I keep seeing "dem landslide in '08"

Idio: no, more like loops with frucose...Nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about....

I see the crack pipe is especially hot today.

Please, PLEASE give me that ticket. Not even Diebold could salvage that trainwreck.

Falwell's bitch.

Mushroom clouds.

Game over, fucknut.

i guess mccain thought falwell was an "agent of intolerance" until the rev blamed 9/11 on the feminists, then he became a great american. i wonder if mc cain will focus his campaign on the terrorist threat to this country from feminists.

Posted by benjoya at April 8, 2006 07:00 AM

Feminists, liberals, gays, what's the difference. They all are threats to this Country. Right? Right.

Maybe we should swiftboat McCain like they did Kerry. Was McCain really a POW? I hear that he was really in the brig, according to my source, who prefers not be identified. At least six people have verified that McCain was not a POW, but spent two years in the brig.

Posted by Judith at April 8, 2006 07:14 AM

John Mccain is done politicaly....The right is in tatters and he is cozing up to them....the landscape has changed and he fails to see that.
