If this country actually takes on Iran, we are truly f*cked in the head. It will be a nightmare, making Iraq look like a kid's sandbox. And Bush is certainly enough of an idiot to try it. God damn him straight to hell (apologies to Charleton).

If he can bring about an attack on Israel,(not an improbable outcome if the attack is orchestrated properly), and Israel falls, then the way is paved for the 2nd coming, and Bush can claim credit for facilitating it. He is deranged and delusional, and his Religious Reich followers are behind him all the way. As far as the rest of us, we are doomed to hell anyway, so why should Bush worry if he simply hastens our departure? He is one sick bastard. Don't doubt that he will attack another country. He has two under his belt so far. We stop him now, or we are at imminent risk of global annihilation. That's the truth, pure and simple.

Don't forget how our CIA overthrew the democracy in Iran in 1953 and installed the torturing dictator Shah. I'm sure that the Iranians remember that U. S. intervention, even if many Americans don't.

But TIKI, you know as well as I that any rich, politically connected kid that wants it, has a ticket out of the war, even IF there is a draft. They never send their own, they mostly send the poor, the oppressed, the brain-washed, and the ignorant. You know, see "Cheney"- he gets 5 God damn deferrments, or see "Bush" - he hides out in the National Guard (the "I ain't going to the front-line" hiding place of choice back then). Drafts, like every other horrific policy choice, do not affect the politically connected or the power-elite, unless they choose to be affected.
