Comments: Scooter Loses A "Hail Mary"

Thanks for that bit of good news in a world where good news is becoming pretty damned hard to find.

Should the defense team have to pay for the 31 page opinion, or do the tax payers eat it as usual?

Team libby is not suprised at all. They expected it. This is more about stalling than justice. The folks paying the bills are out to protect the Repigs, the Admin and Bushbag. They aren't paying big bucks to protect a weasel like Libby. In return libby hopes for that elusive Presidential Pardon right after Nov 2,06.

I know you know this, but Scooter ain't paying.

All the big mucky-mucks who have a vested interest publicizing our CIA agents' ids are are paying so Scooter might skate.

Off topic question: Do you mean loses and in "lost" or looses as in to "let loose"?

Posted by stoic at April 27, 2006 12:48 PM

The pardons will come right before the trial begins in 2007. For both Libby and Rove, and perhaps, Cheney.

so Scooter might skate.

I bet George Ryan thought the same thing.
