"Perjury" might be wishful thinking on their part and leave the administration and party some wiggle room on keeping Rove around to do his usual election time dirty tricks.

More serious charges related to obstruction, treason, leaking classified info would make Rove a symbol of the corrupt croney-stacked admin and an election issue unto himself. The First Leaker and wagon-circlers in Repug Congress will have to take a position on him and be re-tied to the revolting extremist policies he and they used to marshall political power.

Tying Rove and Dirty DeLay around all their necks is something even this pathetic Press Corpse can't freshen up.

I really fail to understand Luskin's attempt to spin this stuff; Fitzgerald is going to do what he is going to do, regardless of what public expectations are. I would really hate to see Rove's legal bills; I bet they've eaten up all his Enron windfall.
