If Pat Roberts will continue to stonewall any Phase Two inquiry on Bush Administration use of pre-war Iraq WMD intelligence until after the November elections, they why aren't Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi making a bigger issue of this?
My only hope is that Reid will make a splash for the elections. Maybe the Dems will have an all out media blitz for this.
Hey, we can all hope, right?
bbtb - yeah, how come? We need to send letters, emails, or phone calls to Pelosi and Reid to get their priorities straight. How do they expect to keep their seats without stopping bush? He has excelerated the PNAC plan because of the pending fall of his empire.
I also notice that the myth of the fuel shortage is taking hold: Bush wants to squeeze us until we give in to ANWR. What a twisted person!
Posted by sara swati at April 28, 2006 11:25 AMWhat the hell was Hillary doing at Tony Snow's graduation party? Granted, she's got more balls than any ten Republican Yellow Elephants, but what is she trying to prove? Sure Rupert will help her campaign! She's the best organizational device the GOP can concoct to motivate the faithful into remaining with God's Only Party.
I have been getting lots of material promoting just such a move by the RNC from my Good Orange County (CA) Republican coworkers, and the primaries are two years away!
Hillary is the reason (and the method) the GOP is successfully whipping up the losers who still support them so that they won't notice how badly they are being screwed and defect to the Democrats this fall.
If anything clearly demonstrates that Hillary doesn't deserve ever to be president, this is it.
Posted by pessimist at April 28, 2006 12:01 PMBush says he expects oil companies to invest their obscene profits in research for alternative fuels. Is the man that friggin' stupid? They're going to research an alternative to their own way of life? Get real. If they were going to invest in research for alternatives to oil, they would have already done that. That's exactly why "trickle down" doesn't work - they're not going to spend their profits, they're going to save them and make more off investments. I was against a windfall tax but now I think there should be one and that tax should be awarded to companies that are researching and developing alternative energy.

She will...err HAS sold her soul to get into the WH. If she gets the Democratic nomination, I will have finally lost all hope for this nation.
Gee, Rice and rummy are "having a wonderful time here in Iraq"... makes you kinda wanna go there, doesn't it?
Rummy's dodging the press because of the calls for his resignation. Duh.
