I'm sure this will be ignored mightily.
The Press Whores are still trying to figgur out if Colbert was being snarky or serious.
Posted by Zappatero at May 1, 2006 04:25 PMI agree with Zap. But from the start, the very start, it was clear to all, Media included, that Plame was a key player in the very real protection of this country from rogue WMD programs. Bush/Cheney knew what her position was and what she did and the compromised her for politics. They do everything for politics. It's as if the entire world exists simply as a political game for them. But, since the Media and Press is GOP controlled, the mere fact that Bush was compromising the very security that, on TV, he was bragging to protect, was hidden from the American public. It is impeachablely corrupt.
Posted by T2 at May 1, 2006 05:34 PMPlame Was Working On Iran When She Was Compromised
Yes, sure she was !! You folks are gullible. MSNBC? Wow-what a source. I seem to remember.....?
Posted by jj at May 1, 2006 05:35 PMjj is right. the only source you can trust is the white house press secretary and since he left fox you can't even trust them anymore. joe wilson's gonna get indicted, just you watch.
Posted by another forgotten troll at May 1, 2006 05:43 PMWell, aren't we all aware of it? We're just waiting for validation in the form of documentation. I am at least. We'll see what Shuster's got, but I've been convinced that it was a twofer getting both Wilson and Plame out of there from the beginning. Bushco has learned to squelch opposition before it happens; no pesky reports being leaked later on. Also, they know Plame can't come out and say what she worked on because it would "compromise nat'l security." She was outed, and couldn't say a thing to defend herself. They didn't plan for actual war, but they planned for this.
Posted by iamcoyote at May 1, 2006 05:46 PMOkay maybe a stretch, but knowing that after Iraq they wanted to go after Iran. When Wilson published his op-ed, maybe they saw their opportunity to try and discredit Wilson and intentionaly destroy some intelligence gathering capability w/ respect to Iran, so as to not have the possibility of undermining their plan.

If you did not have a few trolls now and then this blog would totally stale.

I read recently that all lies are now to be called "personal mythologies."

May I quote you in the future (regardless of who is in the White House)?

You forgot the big ass Broke Back Mountian Hollywood liberal faggot.
Plame, shamame. Who cares about an operative being outed and the resulting deaths of several agents when her cover was blown. This is Merca...the good ole U.S.S.A.! The pretzledent is the new nazi god, and his followers would have to be pried out of his ass with a 2 by 4 if he should suddenly stop in mid-stride.
Nothing to see here...except when no one was looking the Feds turned the printing presses on high. Inflation round the bend, boys.
Posted by phidipides at May 1, 2006 06:51 PMphidipides,
If the country is so awful...move. I am pretty sure that you could get a job writing copy for the North Koreans.

Now there are "several"? Nice try! You folks are really concerned about the well being and health of CIA personal? When did you make the change? You are such hypocrites!

Hey didn't you see Jeff "Skunk" Baxter in his kilt?
I'm sure it was about the same time you folks were so concerned about the well being and health of immigrants in this country!
[tin foil hat on]
Sibel Edmonds has intimated that Brewster- Jennings was the real target of the Plame outing. B-J was getting too close to exposing a global black market in WMD run by neocons in the US and members of the Turkish government.

Posted by Jim Faith at May 1, 2006 08:27 PMDid Tom Delay spray bug spray where the trolls were hanging out? I wish the bug man would add something to help the trolls with critical thinking.
Posted by smooth at May 1, 2006 08:47 PM"Critical thinking?" Hahahahahahahaha
Smooth, you have to be capable of critical thinking first which require some intelligence.
jim
i recently interviewed larisa about:
1. Brewster Jennings, and how that does, and does not, relate to Valerie Plame.
2. Sibel Edmonds and Brewster Jennings
Luke - my apologies, I should have linked to your interview, but I was lazy. I remembered your January interview with Edmonds. And in spite of the 'conspiracy' aspects, it rang true.
Posted by Jim Faith at May 1, 2006 11:07 PMJudith,
My mistake!!
Posted by smooth at May 1, 2006 11:36 PMcheers Jim.
the larisa interview helps put the Sibel stuff in perspective - particularly in light of the latest confirmation that Larisa's feb story about Plame working in Iran.
in fact, Part 1 of the interview deals a lot with Iran - particularly the criminal & corporate power factions - both inside and outside of governments - that are angling for Iranian regime change.
Posted by lukery at May 1, 2006 11:39 PMWhen people are tearing down the country of our birth, our duty is to stop them, not to run away like a chickenhawk troll.
If it is prooved that Val was working on Iran nukes, how will you spin her outing? Have they issued the BS talking points yet?
Posted by TIKI AL at May 2, 2006 12:45 AMI've a feeling that the trolls really don't like the idea of a beautiful blonde woman defending them, rather than the other way round, and they especially don't like the idea that Joe Wilson gets to sleep with her.
Posted by jlb at May 2, 2006 02:58 AMThis is worse than a crime - it's a mistake.
Chimpy's out there like wily coyote hangin' right there in space...have a nice flight dickhead.
Posted by professor rat at May 2, 2006 04:07 AMWow. The treason really brings the fucking trolls out.
BTW, Toby, that rotten fish stench would be your crotch. You might want to get that checked.

Hmm. Perhaps you need to get out of mom's basement for a while. Take a shower. Maybe even take a walk. Stop by the store; you can stock up on Chee-tos.
If you leave the place open while you're gone, the fish smell will probably be gone when you get back.

Thanks for your support, comrade. Coming from a person whose last independent thought was whether you would masturbate to a picture of Busch or Rove, I must take what you said as being reflective of current neo-con thinking and, to a certain degree, as a compliment. To wit; "Why can't all these people go away and let us 12% of the population be happy?" Why can't we go away? You are like the Nazi guards at Dachau. We want to be there when you get shown the death and destruction you caused. We want to see the dawning realization in your eyes that you collaborated with war criminals and scum. We want to hear your children decry your acts and you. And then we will welcome you back to the fold. Just like Mussolini's followers welcomed him back. I've seen the pictures. It was a just and beautiful reward for his acts.
Wow. The treason really brings the fucking trolls out.
Yeah. It's an act they can identify with.
Posted by phidipides at May 2, 2006 07:03 AMPhidipides has my nomination for the 2006 TLC Best Takedown of a Revolting Rightist Award for his "you are like the Nazi guards at Dachau" reply to Bagley.
Bravo. Stupendous.
I'm sure Bagley is readying his devastating butter knife.

We could use some trolls with higher brain functions, who don't just spew the latest oxycontin induced rantings of Blush Limpdick.
Too bad it's just jj the clown, Usama Ben Ditto, the BagMan, and a few assorted Reich Wing nuts. When's Scaife going to send over the third team? These juco prep troll-wannabees are too easy... they go down faster than JD Guckert at an RNC fund raiser.
"they go down faster than JD Guckert at an RNC fund raiser"
BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
