If Saddam Hussein had made the same oil deal with Texaco he made with France and Russia he would still be in power and touted as a humanitarian. Of course if he had done that he would be on al-qaida's top ten most wanted list. I think he would choose differently if he had it to do again. Al-qaida treaded lightly in Iraq when he ran the place. Now it's their second home.

That has a moral or something. It's hunting for proof Bush knew there were no WMDs in Iraq is like being stuck in the mud just spinning your wheels. It's too obviously so to be proved.
