Comments: They's Hoes, Then They's Hoes

On one hand, she receives leaks and prints information she should not (Plame). On the other hand, she receives info and does not print info she should (9-11). So, a traitor coming AND going?

The only thing we really know for sure is that Judy's out for Judy. I don't know if this information is true or not, but it's from Judy- it's gonna need a lot of backup before I'll believe it.

Nevertheless, I do know the intelligence community was trying to get the Bush administration to do something about a threatened terrorist attack. Apparently, it was common knowledge that something was going to happen... and it suited Bush's agenda to let it.

This stupid witch will say anything for attention.

I don't believe her: period.

She has a book about to be published and as the old adage says, no publicity is bad publicity.

Up hers.

Sure, she was so privilaged that she got information from a still-anonymous top-level White House source, who shared top-secret NSA signals intelligence with Judy. My, my, isn't Judy important. Hob nobbing with the elite. If only she had shared this information about some future attack, Judy could have saved the United States. The only ego bigger than Judy's is Bush's. Burn in hell Judy.

That's 2 stories held including Reisen's NSA. One because Judy says she's afraid of calling Wolf, the 2nd because of Bush's pleading. Where's the 3rd?

There are times when I am simply flabergasted....my fifty years worth of English and Spanish vocabulary words have been totally and completely exhausted. What else can one add or say about this never ending farce! WTF!
I think the wingnuts are right....this is the end of the fucking world!

I tend to believe her, though she has motive for blackmail now. The reason I do is that I read about the plot during the Yousef trial, then watched and waited for another reporter to cover
it again. What I read was that "top US intelligence and law enforcement officials" were
"very concerned" about evidence emerging from the
Yousef trial and that they suspected that "foreign-born" terrorists were training at US flight schools "including secure US military
bases" already in 1997, and that they hoped to
fly hijacked airliners into the WTC and Pentagon,
along with less prominent targets.

This meant to me that not only did the suspects
believe they could pick a day when they could
count on no effective air defense, but that the
Feds believed it too.

That would be a stretch unless the plotters knew
something the public did not. But they were
alleged to be training on "secure US military
bases." It sounded to me like Iran-Contra, and
I'd been told in 1980 that a Bush in the White
House would be the first step to a dynasty, so
I'd been waiting to see if this plan could work.

When Shrub announced I knew it could. I also
knew his record in Texas would not suffice to
win the election. And I knew the plotters were
still at large, because their capture would have
been announced. Since the plot depended on
inside knowledge about gaps in air defense,
perhaps the date could be derived logically, by
evaluating what schedule would benefit state
actors. That's how, in July 1999, I became
convinced that Bush would steal the election
and enable an attack before its anniversary.
Since it was to be a psychological strategy,
a date with symbolic resonance was needed. But
innumeracy is rampant; cashiers at McDonald's
no longer count change, for instance. Only a
few numbers had resonance for all US citizens
regardless of race, class, and education. Only
one number had that resonance for young and old
alike, and it happened to be the number evoking
danger and protection by the state.

When the stories about the plot never reappeared
I knew there was no serious effort to protect
the targets. When the planes-into-buildings
threat was foiled in Genoa thanks to Pentagon
help and massive PR hype, I knew it was possible
to protect known targets from air attack, I knew
the Pentagon were taking the threat seriously,
and I knew that the pResident knew about it.

A few days later, though I didn't know it,
Harriet Miers handed Bush the August 6 PDB
whose headline specified the next nation to be
hit.

I did know he stood to regain legitimacy by
letting it happen. It is true that US culture
rewards failure. After OKC some in Congress
proposed merging FBI and CIA into the Nazi-named
Department of Homeland Security, and I knew
they were still waiting for an opportunity.

I also knew that decent public servants had
read the same stories I had, and knew as much
as I and more. Their efforts would have to be
quashed, and Al Qaida couldn't do that any more
than they could deter standard air defense.
Unless all defenses failed at the same time on
the date of the attackers' choosing, the planes
would surely be forced to land. And that's when
I decided it was MIHOP, in July 1999, and that
is how I guessed the date and time of the
attacks. The rest, the targets and method, had
already been published, removing the necessary
element of surprise.

And that's why I know Judy won't be the last to
speak up.

Did the Times ever cop to this insider information after 9/11?

Posted by Sonoma at May 18, 2006 08:49 PM

I have no opinion on the veracity of this story, and certainly no fan of Miller's.But to try to answer Sonoma's question,Miller's editor at the Times corroborates her story.

I hope that Judy Judy Judy can't get the knowledge of her traitorous unAmerican behavior out of her vacuous melon until the day she shuffles off this mortal coil. And that one day she develops a conscience so that the knowledge bothers her a bit...

again, there were multitudes of warnings regarding impending Al Queda attacks given the Bush Administration. Multitudes. And they were mostly given by Bush Admin or Bush controlled agencies, i.e. FAA, CIA, FBI, Richard Clarke and on and on. But Bush/Cheney gave them the brush off. Why did they do that? Because they knew the warnings were true, and felt that a few hundred casualties from a plane hijacking would be an acceptable loss in return for Carte Blanche in aggressive foreign petroleum policy. The witch Miller's latest blab is just another bit of proof that 9/11 was not a surprise attack at all, the only surprise was the resulting damage. That completely explains the look on Bush's face in the kiddy class that morning.

uhm doesn't this also raise questions about whether 9/11 was an inside job after all?

In my mind, there is no question at all.

It was.
