Feingold's question to the Dems needs repeating whenever you talk to your reps.
Stand up and be counted, or sit down and keep yer yap shut.
Posted by Duckman GR at June 5, 2006 12:29 PMThat includes Biden. That fucker is only 2 steps away from Lieberman in his predillictions for attacking other Democrats and getting his yapping mug on TV.
Posted by idiosynchronic at June 5, 2006 01:45 PMI would like Warner a whole lot better if he had the courage to talk about Iraq and address the fact it was wrong to invade, wrong to use war as a first choice.
Posted by cmpnwtr at June 5, 2006 01:45 PMWarner is Hillary with a southern accent and testosterone. If elected, he will be too cautious and the opportunity to gain real reforms after the Bush disaster will be lost. He would likely be a one term president whose triangulation would allow for a new series of simple lies to be passed on as truth, and likelylead to a Reoublican revival.
Posted by herbal tee at June 5, 2006 01:53 PMIs Warner your brother-in-law? What anyone discerns as remarkable in that type of mushmouthing, during times like these, is something I do not understand.
Posted by Sonoma at June 5, 2006 02:10 PMI'm interested to get a first handglimpse of Warner in Vegas this weekend. I'll certainly convey my impressions afterward.
Posted by snark at June 5, 2006 02:14 PMSnark - keep rubbing it in.
I can - and will - live blog the entire 4 days of budget discussions from the Iowa United Methodist Annual Confrence in revenge.
After all, I'm the one with keys to the PA system in our trailer. :)
Posted by idiosynchronic at June 5, 2006 02:31 PMGee, snark, I didn't know you were going to yearly Kos, I musta missed the last 10 times you rubbed it in!!! Booger.
Posted by iamcoyote at June 5, 2006 02:53 PMYearly Kos aside, I agree with the Warner comment above. Those who lean 'conservative' in their policies aren't going to stray far from the pack - they can't stand up on their own two/four feet without support.
As for Biden, did he pull his head out of his ass at last? But - should he be rewarded for doing so? After all - until he's cleaned up, he's still a shit head!
I say no. I saw his 'performance' on Mete The Cess Sunday, and Joe was pandering to a political constituency every bit as much as Dumbya is with his 'defend marriage' crap. His ambition trumps both his brain and his integrity.
Oh wait - he has neither! I guess that leaves ambition, and no politician of any party is worthy of support if this is all they have to offer.
Posted by pessimist at June 5, 2006 07:59 PMThat's 'Warner commentS' - plural.
