Nobody wants a thorough examination of terrorism and the Middle East when it's much easier for Coulter to say that we should "invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."
What's worse is that the right wing knows this and seizes every opportunity to drag the discussion into the gutter. For all involved - Americans excluded - it's a good thing. It gives the networks ratings and it allows the Republican Party to avoid having their policies under scrutiny. To the right's advantage, it also places Democrats on the defensive, having to answer to ridiculous charges instead of moving the debate forward.

They're just greasing their own skids and palms by having her/it on their TV station(s). (I had to google AC and actually link to her website to find her publisher. I have to go bathe in chlorine bleach after this rant.) What was most disgusting in the interview I watched this morning was when Matthilda put his hand on hers which were resting on her crossed arthropods. Lucky for him he wasn't sucked into the vortex emanating from between her legs. EEEEEYUCK. And could she please find another LBD! The interview included a clip of her appearing on the show last November and she was wearing the same outfit. Maybe it's tattooed on like Michael Jackson's lipstick. She should just get a floor length bag to wear over her head, preferrably made out of dry cleaner bags. That is the only woman who would look better in a burka.

I don't listen to them regularly, but when I do run across them I'm always struck by how hard they are trying to be funny. It is just that instead of wit they use overstatement and outrage. This fails for two reasons, their rightwing followers take the exaggerations literally and the left doesn't find them clever.
If one keeps in mind that they are failed clowns then it is possible to treat them with the degree of seriousness that their remarks deserve.

The owners, financers, broadcasters of RTLMC have been convicted for war crimes in the genocide and many of the broadcasts began much in the vein of what we hear from Coulter and the right wing zealots on talk radio. An interesting documentary project could be on the medias of hate comparatively speaking and that would juxtapose the American media of hate with others and point out the close similarities between all of these vile human beings.
