He will go after SS next Fall, and the next year and the next year. He never loses, just changes the rules to extend the game. If he is president a third term and a fourth, he'll go after SS every year.

Every Democrat running for office in November should make damn sure this issue is front and center, and remind people that the Republicans will try again to take their SS away from them. Let's use fear like Bush does.

It will be about as good as Kerry's advisors telling him to ignore the swiftboat attacks. The 60 cities in 60 days part II tour will happen next year.

And, of course, the line items he would veto would be the social safety net programs, and of course, the REpublican controlled congress would NEVER override the veto. The Democrats who supported this are complete fools! I wonder why I keep supporting them.
