What good is a constitutional amendment when the Supreme Court can't read and the President totally ignores the Constitution.

Rosa Brooks: Did Bush commit war crimes?
Supreme Court's decision in Hamdan vs. Rumsfeld could expose officials to prosecution.

O'Liely did some convoluted barely recognizable apology last night for running the Murtha smear on his show. It must have killed him, his teeth were gritted, and he looked uglier than usual.

At his press conference after pleading guilty for no jail time for things he "did or did not do", Bernard Kerek AKA Bush corrupt crony said the last year and a half have been very difficult on him and his family.

No apology from him. I guess there's nothing wrong with getting your house remodeled by the mob for free. What ever happened to just buying tickets to the policeman's ball?

i suspect that there IS a major change of tone coming from msnbc... i noted that during last night's brian williams' network news, the msnbc promo was for Olberman (the first time i ever saw such) instead of scarborough or matthews. this has to mean that they are appealing to a much more liberal audience and, to do so, will have to shift their game plan to the left.

and just now, news that they've cancelled rita-the-grating. all in all... positive signs (even if driven by purely marketplace motivations).

I'm really going to miss Raspy McThroat.(Jon Stewert's nickname for Rita)
