Comments: Bush Flip-Flops On Immigration, Panders To His Base

I wonder if the outcome of the Mexican elections will effect his stance?

Immigration-related issues may mobilize the GOP base enough to save them this time around, but antagonizing America's fastest-growing demographic is decidedly not a smart play long-term.

“I’ll continue to stand tall,
You can trust me,
For I promise,
I shall keep a watchful eye upon ya’ll,
Ooo I love to dance a little sidestep,
Now they see me, now they don’t,
I’ve come and gone,
AND Oooo I love to sweep around the wide step,
Cut a little swathe and lead the people on.”

If you are referrring to the Warren Commission with this "single bullet" moniker, get modern! No one cares about that, and it makes you look like some burnout with a 40+ year grudge. The people we need to win have no idea what you are talking about.
Since S.p.e.c.t.r.e. ( do the know that one?) is a good guy (like an old-school Republican) right up until the moment it really counts, then collapses into dumbushland, there must be a better nickname. One that is only a year or two old.

It's not a smart play long term, unless you know that certain "types" of votes are prevented from being cast or are not going to be counted when cast.

Once again, Republicans seem quite content to do things that should destroy them at the polls, yet for some reason they seem to have no concerns....

If this were actually a disastrous long term strategy, then full speed ahead, Reactionary Rightists, I'd like them to foolishly blow their brains out. You go, girl.

But I think KKKarl and his "conservatives" have calculated that getting 70% of the uneducated white vote from here to eternity works out better for them, both short and long term.

Guns, God, Gays and Aliens. Those should really turn national decline around, policy-wise.
