any Dem expecting to be a GOP incumbent or candidate better win by no less than 5, and probabley 6 % points or risk being Diebolded.

any Dem expecting to be a GOP incumbent or candidate better win by no less than 5, and probably 6% points or risk being Diebolded.

I'd go higher. Any race that cannot be arguably whittled down by GOP pollsters to 5-6% points risks diebolding - maybe more depending on the boldness of the candidate and his or her machinery. Some may Diebold and still lose simply to abrogate any claims of a mandate or clear message from the electorate.

And by Diebolding, I think both T2 and I are simply not refering to electronic voting irregularities, but also other poll shenanigans that disenfranchise or unfairly raise the effort required to vote.

I agree with the diebold sentiments completely. However, another dynamic may bear watching - Bradblog reports that diebold's Q2 profits are down by 46% over Q2 last year.

"or unfairly raise the effort required to vote."

Idiosynchronic, in Missouri that has already been accomplished. You have to have a picture ID starting with this election to vote. Well, that should take care of those poor urban Democrats.
Thank Matt Blunt for that one.

I saw a campaign ad for Senator Jim Talent last night, and I laughed for two minutes. Mr. Talent, a wuss and pansey, is well aware that Democrat Claire McCaskell is going to give him a rough ride in keeping his seat come November. The ad shows a black woman talking about Talent's successful career in the Senate. After praising Jim Talent, she looks into the camera and says "I don't vote for a party, I vote for the man."
Do you think Talent is trying to disassociate himself from the GOP? Yep, I think so.

OMG - that's insanely wild, Judith. That commerical should make Talent the laughing stock of the political internet for 5 minutes at least.

Idiosyn, what I'm referring to the proven ability to manipulate Diebold voting machines to read pretty much whatever the manipulater/decider wants them to read. Only a clear, beyond dispute, victory margin has the ability to stand up to manipulation. This is not tinhatism- it is, in today's America, the real deal.

Judith, was the black woman in the ad Conartista?

Jim Talent is gay, and pro gay marriage. Nuff said.

"Judith, was the black woman in the ad Conartista?"

TIKI AL, come to think of it.

On NPR this morning, they released a new poll showing that in the top 50 House races, voters choose Democrats over Republicans by a big margin. Oh, they will try to steal the elections, but it is not going to be quite as easy this time around.
