Comments: Letter From California

It's tough to shop when the choices are bad and incredibly bad.

Why do the Republicans have both houses and the White House. One simple reason -- the Democrats stopped caring about middle class America. The Democrats support fringe issues that the average American does not care about and their future strategy is to legalize as many illegal aliens as they can hoping that these people in the future will vote for them. The Republicans want cheap workers and the Democrats want cheap votes and to hell with the average American. The Democrats just seems to be a party that is caught in the past and can not adapt. The country would be better off if the Democrats disbanded and a new party was formed to take its place.

As far as Boxer and Feinstein. I gave up on these two a year ago. Feinstein is the Rodney King of the Senate -- "Can't we all just get along."

Boxer, Feinstein and Liberman are part of the cabal which makes sure that support for an unnamed country never wavers no matter what they do.

No matter how much I can't stand the Republican party, I do not find the Democrats a viable alternative. When I read Pelosi's campaign platform for the Democrats I laughed so hard tears came to my eyes. Such a not ready for prime time group. The most we can hope for is giving the Democrats control of one house so they can serve as a blocking action to George the Idiot.

Have tried twice to get this to post ... Bring It On is posting that they are getting visted by DOJ. Apparently using FOIC tags, links in a post is catching the eye of DOJ!

California? Unimportant when there is a world to set on fire in the name of Israel. Why are neo-cons anti-American? Why are they traitors? When will we hang the neo-cons in the town square? Inquiring minds want to know.

Y'know, one doesn't have to be a member of a party to be a troll.

Bring some real discussion points next time, Ish, rather than some broadly unsupported assertions that back up your narrow and biogted belief that illegal immigration is evil, and that no one cares about the middle.

Who is "Bring if on"? What are "FOIC tags"?

The real Axis of Evil: Bush, Chaney, and Rumsfeld.

sorry about that, woke up this morning with big time heat allergies. Bring It On is a blog at
http://www.teambio.org The issue came up when another blog noted that using Technorati tag FOIA (freedom of information act) she was getting a visit from DOJ. 3 huge wildfires burning on 3 sides of my house within 5 miles, eyes are nearly swollen shut and i'm REALLY cranky.

Posted by mainsailset at July 28, 2006 10:01 AM

mainsailset, why are you still there? Isn't it dangerous?

Posted by iamcoyote at July 28, 2006 10:36 AM

Wildfires suck.

Be safe.

Posted by snark at July 28, 2006 10:45 AM

iamcoyote - good question. so far, it's not dangerous unless you're an underpaid firefighter or smokejumper. the smoke is the insane part. my eyes feel like they live in iraq. thanks for asking.

Idiosynchronic you must be just about as dense as you are rude. Saw your posting on another sight and it was just as rude.

Since you must have crap for brains let me point it out for you. Seventy percent of the country is against illegal immigration (hey we already have 10% of the population of Mexico here what percentage do you want -- the whole freaking country). The Democrats are all over legalizing the illegals and opening are borders further. This ends up with most Americans (I am talking about the legal ones that can vote) believing the Democrats have nothing to offer.

Other reasons that the Democrats will stay on the out is because they have no strong issues except abortion and gay rights. Can't take a worth while position on Iraq, support the killing of innocent people in Lebanon by Israel using weapons we have given them, support giving more money to the military establishment as long as it is their district.

I will repeat my general theme -- the Democrats by their appeal to a few outlying groups -- like toad face idiosynchronic - fail to rally a majority of Americans to their party. You can argue all you want but results speak louder than words. The Republicans have both houses and the White House. The recent election in San Diego shows what motivates most Californians -- the Republican won by running on controlling our borders (probably is a strange concept to some) in a race that a Democrat should have won.

One side of the big tent has fallen down and it now only covers the fringe groups.

That's why the REPUBLICANS (like the Predent) want to legalizing them!! talk about crap for brain's

I expect a "Letter From California" to inform me that Mel Gibson was arrested on the Pacific Coast Highway near LA early this AM on suspected DUI, posting $5,000 bond to regain his freedom.

Passion of the booze?

Posted by TIKI AL at July 28, 2006 01:04 PM

MADD will have a field day, justifiably, with the mug shot of Mel. A drinking and driving Mel is not something I'd prefer to encounter on CA byways.

Posted by mainsailset at July 28, 2006 01:21 PM

As I indicated earlier:

The Republicans don't want to stop the illegals or implement a guest worker program because it is cheap labor. The Democrats want to legalize the illegals because it is cheap votes. In both cases the middle class American is left to pick up the bill

We really should try to impeach these sociopaths. And don't worry, impeaching Bush won't put Cheney in office. If Bush is impeached, Cheney undoubtedly will be implicated in wrongdoing. Tom DeLay is gone. That leaves Dennis Hastert, who's in hot water already for ethics charges. (I'm not sure, does that leave Nancy Pelosi up to bat?)

Alternate scenario: Bush, Cheney, et al. will get nervous about the possibility of being impeached, resign like Nixon, and move to Saudi Arabia, which won't let them be extradited for war crimes. (I read on a blog recently that Justice Gonzales has advised Bush and Cheney to start interviewing defense attornies. I've also read that Barbara Bush recently brought some real estate in Saudi Arabia.)

Third scenario: The Bush administration stays in office the rest of his term, but future Republican presidential candidates will hopefully behave more ethically ("Gee, do you think they might have been serious about this impeachment stuff?").

Oh. My. God. I checked the order of succession on line. We have a heapa republicans who would succeed to the presidency. Oh, well, maybe the threat of impeachment would keep the replacement on the straight and narrow. (please, please, PLEEEEEEEAZE, God!)
