Not only are the elite insiders behind this administration earning profits beyond avarice, they are setting this nation's financial agenda for years to come.
ALL WARS ARE ABOUT:
1. Looting the federal treasury
2. Controlling the citizens and instilling fear
3. Depleting the government's treasury so that pressing social and economic issues cannot be addressed.

Posted by Geoff at August 16, 2006 10:24 AMThe answer is pretty obvious. This war is not impacted the American people the way the Vietnam War did or the way that World War II did. Since we have a volunteer army, the war has had a disproportionate toll on the underprivileged and the underserved. They have no voice in Washington. This is a fact, especially in the era of tax cuts and targeted budget cuts.
Now, start a draft. Start drafting the sons of senators and congressmen. Start drafting the sons and daughters of CEOs and CFOs. The war would be over before November.
