Comments: The Next Martin Luther?

A couple of points :
We want religion out of government, AND gov out of religion. Do the religious people think they can control the gov that they invited in?

Religious people better be careful who they invite in. Reid is a lying criminal. Bush is a liar. Look at the adulturous count on the top 3 REP presidential candidates for 2008. Religion will get dirty if they get down with politics.

A conservative can be conservative in a liberal America, but a liberal can't be liberal in a conservative America. This is extremely un-American, and if religion gets into THAT, they might be on the wrong side down the road. This directly applies to religios freedom.

I saw the movie, Luther, great production. Martin had balls the size of an agnostic.

Good post, but didn't Mr. Jesus in one of the many "official" gospels say something like "a prophet is not without honor, except in his own country"?

This evangelical professor and his message will be completely ignored by his Fundamentalist co-religionists.

Unlike Luther, America's Fundamentalists aren't concerned about the corruption of their church and its leaders, and they certainly aren't going to "reform" anything.

Well, at least someone is speaking out, and he should be applauded for that much.
