Comments: Open Thread - Back To Work

In the richest Country in the world, a Mother walked into a Schnucks Grocery Store yesterday morning, and left her to children ages 5 and 7. Why? Because she couldn't make enough money to support them. The Mother will not be prosecuted. The children will be put up for adoption, as they are now wards of the State. And the divide gets bigger and bigger. For every dollar we make, the 1% makes $18,000. Bush&Co will rot in hell.

Now that the annual photo-op honoring labor is ended, it's back to work as usual, slaves.

You got that right. Other than small shops not bound by leases by their malls, was nothing closed yesterday?

Labor Day has become what its buisness proponents wanted - a day honoroing labor of the middle and upper-classes, where unions don't even make the front-section, and the working poor keep on doing.

Gad, what a farce.

Not only was nothing closed yesterday, but workers are not being paid time and a half anymore either.
