Posted by Judith at September 9, 2006 07:24 AMSorry about double posting. I was just sitting here thinking about what if the 9-11 smear-u-drama was factual? What if the republi-cons and neo-cons are telling the truth? What if there is not a neo-con propaganda machine? Then I read this story and came back to the real reality: Neo-cons and republi-cons hate America. They can't stand America. They would sell their children into prostitution for a dollar.

When people become (victims) inconvenient, those in power just stop seeing them as people, i.e. stop counting them. Hence, our wonderful economy and the lowering violence rate in Baghdad. And the unemployment rate aint so bad in MI either!

Ahhh! Now I understand Sharon. It's like the transfer of control of Iraq's military to Iraq. A lie! The nine other Iraqi divisions remain under U.S. control, with authority gradually being transferred. Hmmmm. I wonder if Iran taking Iraqi soldiers will end up bbeing another Lebanon moment? Can't you see Rummy getting woody over the prospect.
So neo-cons and republi-cons are liars, though they call it "media" reports. I'm trying to remember who used propoganda in this fashion? The Nazis? The Japanese during WWII? Communist Russia? Why, the propaganda worked well for these folks. It went swimmingly well. It should work well for us also...until the the lies collapse in a big shit heap as it did for these other countries. But a big shit heap must be the neo-con, republi-con and fundamentalist ideal. Look at the way they live and want everyone else to live.
Posted by phidipides at September 9, 2006 09:01 AMSOS, thank you for posting the names. Continuing this war is out and out murder. We the People deserve better from our government.
Posted by iamcoyote at September 9, 2006 09:09 AM"The Path to 9/11" will be seen by history as a major milestone on America's Path to Fascism.
Americans feel so culturally superior to the Germans when they read about Goebbels avowed use of "The Big Lie" during the Hitler era to bamboozle and mislead the citizenry.
Yet they can't recognize the same technique being used in their own beknighted country. As many historians/philosophers have observed, if it happened in Germany, it certainly could happen anywhere.
And it is.
Posted by euzoius at September 9, 2006 11:55 AMApparently Harvey Keitel has said he had concerns about scenes in the movie.
