It's the comma right between
"America was for several decades the most powerful and respected nation on Earth"
, [Iraq War Catastrophe]
"but Bush went and fucked up everything."
Posted by dj moonbat at September 24, 2006 01:55 PMThis is heartbreaking, but your insights are right on the money. Your concise delivery of the whole Bush mess packs quite a wallop. This is pure castor oil laced with ex-lax. please excuse me. I have to go to the bathroom.
I say, if you don't already own a copy of the U.S. Constitution complete with Bill of Rights, order it NOW while the complete version is still available. It's soon going to get compressed into that comma as well, and you might want to have your own for sentimental reasons or to weep over in the night. Make sure it comes with the Declaration of Independence. That's good for nostalgia, too.
Posted by Delia at September 24, 2006 04:15 PMYou really do hate the USofA, soccerdad. Unfortunate.
Posted by Bagley at September 24, 2006 05:23 PMYea, it is unfortunate that our country has become a terrorist state. What else can you call a country that starts a war based on a pack of lies and destroys it, murders tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis, sets up a gulag where it murders, rapes and tortures prisoners, and on and on as soccerdad notes.
And we also unconditionally back Israel's murderous disposession and subjugation of the Palestinians and rushed cluster bombs for the Israelis to carpet southern Lebanon with, and fully back bloody tyrants in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere.
And now we're we're about to start a war with Iran, another country that hasn't done a fucking thing to us.
In a just world Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell, Feith, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, et al would be standing in the Hague answering for their war crimes.
What's not to hate?
Posted by ran at September 24, 2006 10:04 PMbag hates us for our freedom.
Posted by TIKI AL at September 25, 2006 12:36 AMteabag it's pretty apparent that it's you and traitors like yourself that really hate America ...
Posted by headxray at September 25, 2006 02:37 AMI believe Mr. Bush misspoke, and caught himself in mid-stride with an inane comment.
...just a comma, ... (he meant: compared to what we're going to do to Iran)
Be afraid, be very afraid.
Posted by ONielsen at September 25, 2006 05:21 PMJust because you recognize the criminality and amorality of our present administration and much of the congress, doesn't mean you "hate your country." To think so sounds like narrow minded thinking so characteristic of our present day "neo-cons."
