At least you can trust these republi-con incumbents to put your child's penis where their mouth is.
Posted by phidipides at October 1, 2006 09:49 AMPombo got mixed up in the VT gov race. The Imcumbent rethug wrote Pombo a letter to stop the wild lands protection act (not sure of the exact name) after a deal had been made between the US Legislators & the gov.
Mud on the face of our dear gov, and the race tightens.
I hear the TN race is really close and it probably never occurred to the republicans that they had to fix the voting machines in such a red state. Will they have time to hack in?
Posted by CG at October 1, 2006 10:57 AMYou can put Maryland in the D column now.
Governor Martin O'Malley
Senator Ben Cardin.
Repugs want the election to be about puppies.
We voters are not fooled.
Phidipides, I can say one thing for you, you always come up with a good creative response. Makes you wonder how many more perverts are in the Congress, doesn't it?

In election news from CO-05...
Doug Lamborn is Dr. Dobson's special selected stooge!
A defeat of Lamborn is a defeat for the Christian Reich!
I will be pleasently surprised if Lamborn is defeated. I lived there for 15 years and it is incredibly conservative.

Hastert's own words from a 1998 press conference.
"Even though our children may be at home with the doors locked, that doesn't mean that they are safe. We must continue to be proactive in warding off pedophiles and other creeps who want to take advantage of our children...It's not infringing on liberties, it's about protecting our kids."
If we can't trust the Republicans to protect our children from predators, then the 'Republicans can't be trusted.' New campaign slogan.
I'm completely puzzled why everyone thought TN would go for a Repug like Corker. Also why isn't there more national coverage of this race? Do people assume TN is like AL and GA?
