I've never seen a solitary second of KatieVision. So color me unsurprised that the Couric Bullshitting Segment is dragging.
Posted by God Of War at October 3, 2006 11:53 AMaccidentally caught a glimpse of Couric last night, she looked, talked and acted like an undertaker.
Posted by T2 at October 3, 2006 12:01 PMKatie does the news as if she is on sedatives. Where is her spark? This certainly is as intended, maybe to indicate gravitas, maybe to reassure the right wingnuts that she and CBS not the dreaded liberals the wingnuts think they are.
Last night, in the CBS News Free Speech segment, the father of a Columbine victim blamed that horrible incident on teaching evolution in the schools. With due respect for the man's opinion, the loss of his son had nothing to do with teaching evolution.
Katie and CBS have got it all wrong.
I stopped watching after she had 'rush is wrong' on!
Besides, Olbermann is coming on during that time slot.

*****
What a fucking assclown.
It's real hard to feel sympathy for fucktards like that.
Posted by God Of War at October 3, 2006 01:01 PMKatie Coutic: tomorrow's Deborah Norville.
Posted by Christopher at October 3, 2006 02:40 PMGood ... have never watched a second of her unless by accident and never intend to.
Posted by jra at October 3, 2006 02:58 PM7: Once you go TIVO, you will wonder how you ever got along without one.
K.C. takes too much Valium for me. An undertaker should hire her.

CLK, the man also blamed abortion. Was that a set-up or what?
Posted by Judith at October 3, 2006 06:00 PM"Then I guess she had to crash
Valium would have helped that bash ; )
Let's face it, cutey toothy Katie is not taken seriously by many, including me.
Posted by Judith at October 3, 2006 06:03 PMI's been a fan of CBS news for over 40 years (we got our first TV the weekend JFK was shot); after no more than 10 minutes of Katie's inaugural show, I switched to NBC (at least Brian Williams was in the suprdome when it counted),
