I had heard this before but it still saddens me. He'll probably get out altogether. What person of honor and intelligence would ever align themselves with a GOP-lead military?

Posted by Davis X. Machina at October 8, 2006 09:35 AMFormer Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neil was asked if feared retribution after writing his book critical of the Bush administration. He responded by saying no, that he had already made his pile of cash, and could afford to criticize with impunity.
That was his immediate response. Not that the question was absurd, or that the administration possessed such integrity that the question insulted it. You can look it up.
