As I noted in another thread he's also aired his bitterness over Bill Clintons avoidance of service in Vietnam and criticized Hillary for...well I don't really know what she was doing but I had a gun in my hand and she was holding flowers... But I'm sure he'd be all buddy buddy wit hall the GOP draft evaders in Congress if he got himself elected and I have no doubt he'd just love a little face time with Commander Codpiece.

In other local news, the Iowa GOP has hauled out anti-gambling opposition to TouchPlay machines that were banned 4 months ago against D. candidate for Governor Culver. His lying GOP opponent alleges that Culver has the support of a local quickie mart chain owner - a nominal Republican - because Culver has cut a secret deal to either pay the quickie marts compensation on the lost gambling money or to re-admit TouchPlay machines.
In other words, the Iowa GOP is worried to death their anti-gambling conservative Christian base is going to stay home on Election day.

I support Wu and he has done some decent things in congress. He's turned out much better than I expected. In my college days, I waited tables in a restaurant that Wu' frequented. Served him many times.
He is a, whiny, arrogant, cheap-ass lawyer. It was almost entertaining when he made us run even harder when he had business associates with him. His need to show power over us was almost comical. Then as the check always had an automatic 15% gratuity added (it was a members club restaurant) he would always go out of his way to leave 8% to 10%.

Too damn true. And the War powers resolution. And the Bankruptcy bill. And a number of other Yellow Dog Democrat issues.
Nobody likes the Boswell-Lamberti race, but Lamberti is seen as such a over-wealthy jackass voting for Boswell is necessary. I find myself both dismayed and relived that the Greens didn't put anyone up against Boz. He certainly deserves the competition, I would desperately love to see his ass retired, but the cost of giving Lamberti another job scared the hell out of me. He's a fucking nightmare in the Iowa Statehouse.
Culver-Nussle is a joke once you look at Nussle's voting record on social issues and his fellation of conservative Christians. Culver is all Clintonian without the charisma . . he's almost a carbon-copy of Vilsack, the current Dem.
