Anything Fox does should ring the alarms. Sounds like a setup to me, Steve.
Posted by iamcoyote at November 2, 2006 04:14 PMMedia reporting of exit polls has been suspect since 2000. We have no reason to allow the Wholly Owned Corporate Media to be the gatekeepers AND counters of exit polling data. We Must have some independent agents conducting SCIENTIFIC exit polls. I don't trust the reporting of the so-called news media at all.
Posted by DeminNewJ at November 2, 2006 04:28 PMOkay, I don't get it. Suppose FOx has its own exit polls on all the local races. Suppose they start suggesting winners early in the day and into the night. Suppose at 5 pm the pool-reporters have the same conclusions. So what?
Now suppose the pool surveys have different predictions--sharply different. The voters in the west are still voting, There is some dissonance--is the worry voters might stay home?
I don't see the problem. Enlighten me.
Posted by gtash at November 3, 2006 06:22 AMDemocrats and Leftys have to start to point fingers now. Just in case for some reason they still can't win, they can at least point fingers and go SEE SEE its because of the Fox news polls. Just like the election machines. First the paper ballets were to confusing. Now the electronic voting machines a rigged. Democrats have definatly had a bad couple of elections when they start sounding like sore losers before election day even arrives. YOU HAVN'T EVEN LOST YET. LOL People in the middle east must be laughing their asses off knowing your party has a chance to take control of congress.
