Shouldn't penalties, if violation of election laws designed to prevent misleading voters is proven, include the costs of a special election to set the record straight?

Posted by Dale at November 6, 2006 11:05 AMThere is (and will be) absolutely no enforcement of existing regulations prohibiting these phoning tactics, and (of course) no attempt by the national media to make this obvious national story into a national story, although it looks to be a vital cog in the RNC's "efforts" nationwide.
The Authoritarians are doing this because it will work in these close races and preserve the Republican House. The fact that reflective democracy was not permitted to function will not be reported (or even mentioned) outside of the blogs. At this point, Republicans Hate America and its democracy, and the press does their bidding, however vile the Republican methods might be.
Team Conservative members like peter will be very proud of and delighted by the tactic, while denying that it ever occurred. This is the moral state of Team Conservative members.
