Ahh, Carville. Crazy as a pet racoon.
Dean did very well for the democrats! Could there have been a few more seats added? Maybe. But I think the results were pretty spectacular. Now, if they would just let Dean have 30 minutes with a baseball bat in a locked room with Liebertard. He could maybe straighten-out that mess.
Posted by phidipides at November 17, 2006 07:20 AMStephanie Miller on AAR is going to interview Carville tonight, I believe, and she's announced that she's going to ask him about his stupid remarks because she's been flooded by emails. Not sure when the interview will be aired.
Posted by iamcoyote at November 17, 2006 07:21 AMHow could anyone trust Carville anymore?
After all he's married to Cheney's most-trusted advisor, Mary Matalin!
Scary stuff, indeed!
Posted by Right Fools at November 17, 2006 07:35 AMPhidipides,
Please refrain from analogies that conjure up images of violence.
Thanks.
Posted by eriposte at November 17, 2006 07:49 AMCarville is exhibiting the same edginess that we're seeing from the GOP machine voices. Is it that he/they see the American populous became invested in the grassroots uprising when he really just wanted them to go back to their rooms so that he cold be paid to make decisions for their losses?
Posted by mainsailset at November 17, 2006 07:52 AMJust suffered through 15 minutes of Mary Matalin's bed partner on Stephanie Miller's program -- I've come to the conclusion that Carville has a syphilitic brain. He's so utterly delusional and off the wall that he makes Dick Morris sound sane.
Carville needs to shut the fuck up and go away.
Posted by Christopher at November 17, 2006 08:10 AMAll I can deduce from the Carville Cruscade against Dean is, can you imagine what he had in store to say about Dean in the event that Democrats didn't trounce republicans this past election cycle? And even further, since James keep spouting off and pursuing the Cheney/Matalin Wing of the Democratic Party talking points regarding Dean, I'd say Carville was secretly wishing for Democrats (and therefore Dean) to fail/lose during this past election cycle.
Christopher, did she ask him about Dean? That's the part I wanted to hear.
Posted by iamcoyote at November 17, 2006 08:16 AMHappy Birthday, Howard Dean! He's da man!
Posted by Mary at November 17, 2006 08:24 AMcoyote, I didn't hear the interview but there's a diary over at kos on the subject...bet there will be more to follow. Apparently she did ask him about Dean and according to the diarist, James' beef was with a)the 10 million vs. 4 million credit line and b)he felt too much time/money invested in the state party development versus sending it toward candidates. However, according to the diarist, that person felt the real reason Mr. James Matalin was upset with Howard was because c)Dean didn't return a phone call to James back in October. After personally witnessing James' latest tirades and temper tantrum I guess that wouldn't be too hard for me to believe.
Posted by emal at November 17, 2006 08:35 AMColorado Dems Party chair sent a letter out to the DNC too - I'm trying to get the text.
Fuck you, Carville!
Posted by Flamethrower at November 17, 2006 08:41 AMI think Carville is upset that his book with Begala wasn't a huge hit!
We don't need some 'whiney skeletor' fucking things up for the Dems! Everyone made this victory work and deserves credit, especially Dean! Carville needs to go home to the wife and retire in complete unhappiness.
eRiposte, I understand where your coming from but phid does have a point. Loserman will be the hostage taker and shaker of DC for the next 2 years. Then, we will have a larger majority in the Senate and boot him to the curb in the shame that he deserves! (Sorry for the boot analogy)
BTW, that comment was mild. I'm still in anger management courses over the current administration.
Carville is either a washed up, semi-demented loser, or a Repub mole, or both.
Posted by at November 17, 2006 09:21 AMcarville and his wife are a dog and pony show..show biz..money..i stopped paying attention to them a long time ago
could it be carvilles closeness to the clintons..that has them a little afraid of a powerful howard dean..and al gore..just a thought...i love gore/dean
Posted by dennis at November 17, 2006 10:08 AMGood point Dennis!
Posted by Seven of Six at November 17, 2006 10:18 AM"Loserman will be the hostage taker and shaker of DC for the next 2 years."
Not if Trent Lott has anything to say about it. Joe is going to get marginalized when Lott starts delivering Repub votes to Harry. Don't forget Trent hates Bush's guts and after the election disaster is under no obligation to follow this lamest of ducks.
Its payback time.
Posted by Daryl at November 17, 2006 10:49 AMDidn't Trent get jerked around by the insurance companies after Katrina too? He might not be in such a charitable mood towards 'big bidnis' these days.
Posted by snark at November 17, 2006 11:08 AMCarville is having difficulty with the fact that his 15 minutes of fame is over.
Posted by wlgriffi at November 17, 2006 11:45 AMJust ask Carville what he thinks Dean would do with all his spare time & his newly empowered state parties as the 08 election approaches.
If Carville is really clintons bff, how does Dean, no longer being held to his promise not to run in 08, fit into his calculations?
They gut is some creepy, his performance on Wolf's show last week(?) was really odd.
and i should really werk on my spelling.
Posted by pwapvt at November 17, 2006 11:51 AMWouldn't it be delightful if just one of those moderate Republicans switched parties?
(Speling? Whaz dat?)

Like Lieberman for instance?
;)
Posted by snark at November 17, 2006 12:38 PMHoly Joe's a party of one. We don't want him back; he's such a whiner.

*****
That and he's married to a vindictive, ugly, Cheney-sucking whore.
Posted by God Of War at November 17, 2006 01:16 PMCarville looks unhealthy to me.
Maybe some illness is souring his mood.
What is there to disagree with in Dean's plans to form and strenghten Democratic organization in every state? I like the idea so much I am a Democratic Bond donor-same amount every month, automatically.
And to Carville: Spend your time on the Republicans. How about vote tampering, supression & electronic voting maching hacking? That is a subject worth pursuing.
If Carville is really clintons bff, how does Dean, no longer being held to his promise not to run in 08, fit into his calculations?
dean is the face of the anti-war majority in the party and the country. he can't be allowed to remind us of all the blood on hillary's hands.
Posted by benjoya at November 17, 2006 09:22 PMThere is a great article on The next hurrah talking about the state of the party - especially at the local level - before Dean took over.
We were not even at an operational level before Dean. Many local offices did not have supplies and many were forclosed on.
Carville is a shill for the likes of his Angular harpie wife, his lunch buddy, Newt, and the republican lite (DLC)
Jimmy Crack Carville. Consummate DLC insider
INSULTANT.
Is that what is on his business card?
