There he is folks. The leader of the free world.
Posted by Judith at November 23, 2006 12:25 AMBuzz is growing louder and louder for an Edwards/Obama ticket in 2008.
Expect to see Hillary's big dollar financial donors support them.
2008 is already shaping up to be a fascinating election season.
Posted by Christopher at November 23, 2006 03:54 AMIf Al doesn't run, that could be an interesting ticket. I like Edwards. Decent guy, great wife, and has 'genuine morale values.'
Posted by Judith at November 23, 2006 04:15 AMI would prefer a Gore/Obama ticket.
But an Edwards/Obama ticket would look a hell of a lot more attractive to voters than McCain/Guiliani.
Posted by Christopher at November 23, 2006 04:45 AM"I would prefer a Gore/Obama ticket."
Now that's a winner.
McCain/Guiliani. God I hope that's the ticket for the GOP. Let's see. An adultery, who lied and cheated on his Wife while engaging in a very public affair, and a man of absolutely no principals. Democrats, load your guns and get ready for the fight.
Posted by Judith at November 23, 2006 04:56 AMBush looks like a retard in that picture (not that there is anything wrong with being retarded). What a dork. The turkey looks more intelligent.

Posted by Christopher at November 23, 2006 05:06 AMTo Steve and his Left Coaster partners and to the commenters here, thank you one and all. Happy Thanksgiving.
Posted by mainsailset at November 23, 2006 06:39 AMwhich one is the turkey??????
Posted by mamameow at November 23, 2006 07:01 AMThe turkey looks more intelligent.
The turkey is far more intelligent! It has never done anything to irreparably damage America’s worldwide reputation, start two wars, or divide the nation. It also had a B average at Yale, unlike the Decider’s bought C.
You’ll notice the turkey also looks far more distinguished. Bush looks like Mr. Bean after banging his head. Free the turkey and stuff Bush!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! This one will be the finest in 6 years, that's for sure. I'm grateful for TLC for all the brilliant writing, for the company, for the knowledge gleaned. Thanks for all that you do, and for the best commenters in the world.
Remember to spare a thought for all those who can't be home today, like snark's nephew, and for those without homes or family.
Take care, ya'll, drive safe, have fun, and save me a piece o' that pumpkin pie!
Posted by iamcoyote at November 23, 2006 07:59 AMIf they blindfolded the real Turkey and put him in the oval office with an "invade" corn button and a "don't invade" corn button, he may have turned out to be a better "decider".
I heard that there are 1,000 more traffic deaths per year since 9-11, due to the amount of people who are afraid to fly now. That would be 5,000, which is more than we lost from the attack. Think its true?
Happy Thanksgiving to all non-republicans.
Posted by TIKI AL at November 23, 2006 09:36 AMI'm thankful it doesn't look like there is going to be another Georgie Thanksgiving stunt this year involving the troops as props for our disastrous Clown-in-Chief.
Posted by euzoius at November 23, 2006 09:53 AMFeed yourselves well, y'all. With a president that dumb, there's going to be lots of work ahead of us.
Posted by dj moonbat at November 23, 2006 03:58 PMGood morning, class. As part of today's civics test, please identify the turkey (or turkeys) in the photograph.
Yes, Timmy? Yes, that is a noble bird turkey in the foreground. What? I see. And that is another type of turkey to the noble bird's right...I believe it's called a turkey buzzard...a carrion eater...that eats the dead flesh of others.
Timmy, you passed with flying colors today's civics test. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Posted by The Oracle at November 23, 2006 06:35 PMOne of the turkeys only has two years left. There's something to be thankful for.
