Comments: Frist Opts Out In 2008

The writing on the wall, by necessity, was in billboard-size letters, I would imagine. It takes an awful lot to get through to these guys.

It takes an awful lot to get through to these guys.

The Democratic investigations and resulting charges and Federal prison sentences will go a long way to doing just that.

One benefit of being thoroughly shut out of power is your limited ability to profit from corruption. Republicans have so many dirty tentacles wrapped around them I wonder who they can put up in '08 that won't be pilloried for some malfeasance?

Dammit Steve, you got my hopes up. "Senator Kneepads" makes me think of John McCain after the last few months of pandering to the hard-right he's been doing.

Frist? Bwa! He couldn't win a campaign for dog catcher right now.

Ha-ha, another humiliated, disgraced "conservative" Republican fool, cynically elevated far beyond his experience and capacity by KKKarl Rover and rubber-stamped by the craven, worthless Senate Republican caucus.

To the extent you figure in the history books, Dr. Fristenstein, it will be as a miserable embarrassing failure who debased the Congress and led America into national decline and world contempt.

Thankfully for you, however, not much notice is generally paid to senate majority leaders, especially when so much historical attention will be focused on the crimes and disasters of the Cheney Adminstration.

But thanks for playing Presidential Sweepstakes-- you lost your dignity, but you win a free box of cat hearts! Don't use them all in one place!

Cats everywhere rejoice.

I wonder if we'll get a serious investigation of his insider trading now that the Dimwits are in control. This was the textbook case of insider trading.

Bill "cat killer" Frist is about as viable as Pat Buchanan.
