Comments: BOOK: United States v. George W. Bush et al. by Elizabeth de la Vega

And of course the book can be ordered here on TLC thus giving a few pennies back to The Left Coaster.
I'm reminded of when Firedoglake did a group buy on Crashing The Gates and had the copies delivered to every Dem member of Congress...something along those lines with this book might make for a worthwhile project.

I would certainly pitch in, although I think my DINO representative has the IQ of a mudskipper and a 3rd grade reading level (corraborated by one of his former professors).

Congrats on the recognition of your research and writing, eriposte. Soon, you'll be in the really big leagues with a head so swelled you'll never again talk to any of us little people.

Conspiring to defraud the federal government is indeed a serious crime (18 USC 371). Ms. de la Vega does the nation a great service in drafting a pragmatic impeachment prosecution anchored so firmly to the foundational crime against the US government and the American public.

However, our larger predicament is the greater crime this conspiracy has waged in our name against international peace and on the innocent people of Iraq. Waging aggressive war is a capital offense with no statute of limitations under the U. S. Code (18 USC 2441) and is also known as the War Crimes Act of 1996.

If we fail to hold these war criminals to account for the far greater crime of aggressive war and all subsequent crimes deriving from it, we become willing accomplices after the fact to the injury they've inflicted on others. No one should doubt that the world takes keen interest in the substance of our efforts to make amends and has the willingness and ability to reward or punish us accordingly.

Congrats, eriposte, this is wonderful news and it looks like a fantastic book. I'd be willing to chip in for a mass buy for congress!

Was this the same woman on Franken's show yesterday? I didn't catch her name but the show was wonderful. I listened in Phoenix traffic on my way to the VA hospital.

Will they dumb-down the big words?

Thanks for the ideas on the "mass buy". I unfortunately don't have the bandwidth to follow-through on that :-(

eriposte, congratulations. You deserve to have your work hailed as exceptional. I also would be more than happy to chip in to send this book to those who certainly should read it.

Elizabeth de la vega, without reading her book, seems to lay out the road to impeachment of Bush and prosecution of others involved. Her blueprint should be looked at seriously for many reasons, but the most important reason, is to warn others that this Country will prosecute any and all persons not upholding the Constitution of the United States. No man is above the law.

eriposte, why don't you list all the politicians in both parties, and each of us who would like to be involved, take a name and send the book to them, Republican as well as Democrats. That way we could keep a list of those receiving the book.

The book is in paperback. Perhaps you can list it and we can buy the book from The Left Coaster. Just a thought.

Judith,

Can you send me an email? Let me give it some thought.

Thanks...
