Comments: Murray Waas

I haved always thought that if more journalist's would condsider blogs as somewhat equal, imagine the gains in exposing the truth. In this day and age of spin and silencing sources I feel MSM has an obligation to work with excellent bloggers, not against them.
Excellent article, eRiposte.

I agree, excellent post. And smart bit o' preemption.

This is the second time I've seen wonkette linked in the last two days and it's disappointing.

Personally I find her distasteful, and her disquieting anal sex fetish would have got her shunned were she a male, but this raunchy tom-boy act seems to be accepted. It got old fast.

I don't recall precisely how at this moment, but I remember her stabbing bloggers in the back when she got taken on the msm in last election cycle.

Yet here the little text slut is after splashing a dead deer across the ether yesterday. It doesn't exactly build my faith in the race of humans, you know what I'm sayin'.

I think it's good eriposte did this, yeah, I just don't like wonkers getting any recognition, is all.

At first sweep it seems laughable that ANYONE would even think of doing an attack piece on Waas given his near religious determination to write factual, well researched pieces. And so the motive would be ...?
Since I haven't seen much of his work out there of late I had assumed he was working on a deep analysis piece; the kind he's known for.

If indeed he has been and is now close to publishing that piece, perhaps we have a bit of pre-emption to discredit the messenger. There is certainly alot of lower hanging fruit of journalists who could be easy marks for criticism, but Waas, good Lord, they have to be desperate.

I don't think Ana Marie Cox writes Wonkette anymore. Does she?

KagroX has a post over at TheNextHurrah where he's reviewing some of the Impeachment arguments and he reminds the reader of the Murray Waas catch last summer of when Bush personally quashed the DoJ investigation into Gonzales/Ashcrofts advice to Bush. With Impeachment discussion being served up regularly these days (and of course Elizabeth's book on the shelves now) I am now more curious than ever just what Murray has forthcoming on the page.

Paradox, Snark,

Ana Marie Cox left Wonkette quite some time ago.
