Comments: Dems Plan To Come Out Hard Against Big Oil

I'm sorry, but the most powerful (and evil!) person in the world walking around carrying a frikkin' dog like Paris Hilton is just embarrassing.

Don't trip Little Boots!

I wouldn't want Barney to take a tumble. Now you on the other hand, I couldn't care less about.

Thats funny, I did an overview of eco tech in my blog yesterday. Ethanol is among the least useful things as the energy to make it is zero sum and the corn corporate welfare is as horrid as big oil.

But the Dems have a huge advantage if they begin to take the broadest possible overview of eco tech in all nuances as it will be a driver of wealth and the sort of great collective project, transition from the fossil fuel fluke era.

There are some new links on ecotech as well. Coyote you are lucky to be in Metro Seattle as goofy Greg Nickles is really doing a lot to make the region an eco tech center. Mass is still in an easy money housing boom hangover and clueless although the ingredients are here.

Check it out, I also figured out Mass is a 'Purple State' seemingly blue at superficial symbolic libralism but red beneath with stagnation from a decade of neocon mba shills like Celucci and "Mutt" Romney. The place is hollow.

Chris, one of the reasons I settled in the area. Wall to wall treehuggers, we're very eco-friendly.

Can you make ethanol from hemp?

Conservation? Renewable energy?

That's the one thing I always loved about being from Michigan: Fair amount of red (lots of hunters and farmers), but also a ton of blue (huge union contingencies), enough so that it doesn't matter. On top of that, I used to live in Marquette, which is like the most blue friendly city you could ever live in. Lots of union miners, hippies, and a pretty strong GLBT community. Sounds like home to me.

I think I'd go crazy living in a state like Alabame.

do you get the impression that they may all be saluting the dog?
a sense of duty is clearly not an indicator of anything but status quo and resistance to change

Hemp oil can be used for Biodiesel. Problem is that yield/acre is pretty low. Extraction is pretty energy intensive. Easy to grow, no need for pesticides and harvestable in 90 to 120 days make it an attractive for raw materials for many many products.

Sea Algae, however is going to be the boom source for Biodiesel.

"[A] sense of duty is clearly not an indicator of anything but status quo and resistance to change."

I don't think that's necessarily true. Duty's just another word for obligation. By raising your right hand, you made a promise. Like it or not, sometimes you have to fulfill that promise. In my experience, though, there are plenty of ways to resist while still remaining true to your duties. For me, that resistance lies in writing; in my essays and poetry. Just because I'm here doesn't mean I have to believe in the reasons WHY we're here. And that means of resistance is different for anyone who takes the oath.

Sometimes, we have to tolerate the lies in order to see the truth beneath.

Damn! He holds the dog the same way he did the GOP Congress , in the palm of his hand or you could also make an argument for by the balls.

I've never seen someone carry a dog like that.

Other dogs aren't trying desperately to escape their embarrassing masters.

When you only have one advisor you can trust you keep him really close. David Berkowitz understands.
