Comments: Lieberman: It's All About Iran

This guy is a lying toxic psychopath. He is running around advocating not just an escalation in Iraq, but for war with Iran. Appallingly bad judgment and disgusting deceitfulness.

Joe has taken the Israeli position hook, line and sinker. Think a war with Iran would advance American interests in any way?

Joe is a real monster at this point. What a failure by CT!

notice the iranian elections (largely viewed as a repudiation of ahmadinejiad) are getting no play -- don't wanna stop the fear juggernaut. still, the holy joes of this world will say theiy're bombing iran for the iranian people. i'm against the death penalty, but i'd be all right with clueless joe being torn apart by wild dogs.

You know after reading this op-ed, with the intentional blurring of the 9/11 =Al Qaeda=terrorist=Iran lines, I can't help but thinking that those non-decision decision meetings like the one yesterday that Cheneyco's hosted under the banner of ecalation in Iraq are really about something much bigger....I mean the body language and looks on the faces of Gates and Pace (who looked scared to death and white as ghosts) compared to the smirking arrogant look on Cheney's face was noticeable, and now this op-ed by Bush's favorite Cheeleader spelling it out right in front of us....whoaaa..there is more more here than we are being told.

Not really, emal. Cheney was the only one who had a full colonoscopy before the meeting, and his insurance covers it!

Great point, benjoya---of course the actual operation of the democratic aspects of Iran's system can't be mentioned by anyone in our manipulative "government" or observed by anyone in our press.

Have we NO senator who can make these observations? Are they keeping their heads down AGAIN? Or are they waiting for Nero to announce the escalation before they start shooting?

LIEberman is obviously running for Vice President again, but on the Repuglican ticket this time.

joe has a few problems now that he knows who his electorate really is.
what I find hilarious is the combination of the drool he puts forth, and that the demo's can't do anything to offend the putz

this is our gubment folks. tell me it ain't broke

afraid "emal" is on to something.
when the desperate have to act, fecal material hits the ventilator

No, he has not taken the Israeli position, he has taken the position of his paymasters who could not care less whether Israel gets eliminated as long as they can enrich themselves by selling death and destruction to gullible citizens. The more war, suffering, and especially destruction that occurs, the greater their power and profit from rebuilding and resupplying the combatants. They sell to all comers on all sides of all conflicts regardless of ethnicity or political persuasion.

Of course more war and chaos will advance "American" interests--those of the international war profiteers and other sharks who feast at the public trough, the only "American" interests Lieberman can perceive in his special-interest built castle of personal arrogance.

Unfortunately, the true American interests of the People will inevitably get ripped off and screwed.
