Isn't there a history, in this admin, of saying something along the lines of
Not here anymore, no longer an issue?
She'll try to dogde it all when it comes down.
Gonzales will be next.
History once again is an excellent lens...BooMan has a post where he talks about the latest Mail Opening Presidential Signing statement where GW asserts the right to open domestic mail without a warrant.
The historical perspective comes in from BooMan's recent reading of the Church Report from the '70's where one of the topics of the hearings was mail openings. When one adds this latest to the 1,000 + signing statements the post points out that it looks like Cheney has been systimatically trying to reverse all the post-Watergate laws one by one as part of his restoration of the powers he felt Nixon's Watergate cost the Executive office. It's almost like a road map.

How long before Harriet becomes a disgruntled former staffer who Bush barely knew.....met her once on a rope line fundraiser. I'll always remember her though....one of the worst press photos in memory when she was trotted out as the Best Person in the World.

Bush's world is getting smaller each day! :-(
Posted by Christopher at January 4, 2007 01:05 PMAbout the time she gets rid of all the evidence, her first deposition will be held.
Nixon and Rosemary Woods are cheering her on from down below.
It's going to be interesting when she has no explanation for the 18 minute gaps.
