Un-frickin-believable. This is the kind of stuff that really chaps my ass. Pure arrogance and petty vindictiveness. We so need to take back the executive branch in '08.

Didn't the San Diego Union break the story on Cunningham? I would think they have a dog in that fight to do some extended background, if nothing else to find out just what cases will be filed in the round file upon her departure.

Well, she could still work as an independent 'consultant' on the case, and basically give 'em the finger.
