Recent clues point to Abbott and Costello as original architects of Plame Leak.
Grand Jury testimony of Scooter Libby, former Chief of Staff of the United States (COSTUS) for the Vice President, leaked by Rove-ing reporter (humor).

I think Mr. Fitzgerald's motto should be: "If you do a white collar crime then you will serve blue collar time." Look where he lodged Judith Miller. A few months in a blue collar jail and she was ready to sing. Unfortunately, she says she forgot the words
The Times & Post They Should Be A-Changin
Bloggers Request:
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the Times & Post should be a-changin'.
Good Bye Sulzberger, Keller, Miller, and Woodward!
Fitzgerald's response:
Come politician's, journalists
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the convictions, they are a-comin'.

Perhaps for Rove?
is there really any doubt in anyones heart of hearts about what cheney was trying to do and why..we went to war on doctored intelligence fed to the american congress and people..are there any trolls out there that can argue that at this point?..we went to war on deceit by our leaders..a government report says it...just how bad does it have to get for some people to start believing what these guys are about..
Posted by dennis at February 10, 2007 11:34 AMI actually followed this one [the second time around]. The issue, I presume, in these discrepencies, is about the C.I.A.'s internal processing of these documents. When did they know they were forgeries? When did they know the Italians were messing with things? What was the reason the Italians were messing with these documents? Were they just "sucking up" to Bush as some suggest, acting on their own, or was it something more ominous - something America had something to do with?
I know that your preoccupation is with the micro-analysis of these documents, looking for clues to get at these questions. But you've figured out a lot already. It would be wonderful if you'd give us an "opinion piece" - what you think has already been established within reasonable doubt, and what questions are still up in the air and need to be investigated. Nobody knows this story like you do, eriposte, even those of us who follow your posts religiously.
We're getting to the point where perhaps somebody, a Congressman with a conscience, will pick up the torch and get this business carried to completion.
Americans need to hear this story, not as a complex mystery but as a narrative...
Posted by Mickey at February 10, 2007 07:26 PMeR, I second Mickey's request. And I hope you are getting lots more attention from intrepid investigative journalists and congressional staff members who are looking into this story. Your work really gives them lots of questions to go track down to finish the story.

Can anybody investigate who actually did the forgery of the Niger Documents - the actual people that received the documents must know where they came from and who was the first person to present the forge documents herein lies the impeachable offense - because it was Feith's group that set out the forgeries Thats why Cheney threw such a shit fit when Wilson made his case - it blew his cover.

I will have to get to that "summary" piece sometime in the future. I have a feeling it won't be until after the Libby trial. But it's something I do want to do...

Hear, Hear! [short for "hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"]
We'll be waiting...
