Adam, in my opinion, the term "faggot" is only offensive if it's said to a big faggot and they punch someone in the mouth for it. It's amazing how broken teeth with exposed nerve endings demonstrate an offense has been committed.
Now, if you want something really offensive, think the GOP and its supporters. THAT is offensive. Odious, maladapted gutter sluts, the whole lot of them. No offense intended towards gutter sluts.
Posted by phidpides at March 3, 2007 09:12 PMabsolutely without a doubt todays republicans are an offensive bunch..to have the likes of an ann coulter be a mouthpiece in any way shape or form...is disgusting and beyond that ..flat out wrong..she is filled with vitriol ..and has no place ..yet she always has a forum..who is she speaking for??
Posted by dennis at March 4, 2007 03:56 AMJust as McCarthy saw reds everywhere, Annthrax Coulter thinks everyone is gay: Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Terry McAullife, Al Gore and now John Edwards.
She's obsessed and she's a lunatic. Just as most bigots are whack.
Posted by Christopher at March 4, 2007 04:49 AMShe, along with Rush, O'Rielly, etc., speak for the ignorant, far-right, hate mongering, vile GOP, that's who. Ann is the face of this less than human group. Ann is the 29% who still support Bush. If I were Ann, I wouldn't feel too comfortable straying too far from the safety of my home.
Posted by Judith at March 4, 2007 04:57 AMAny bets that Matt Lauder will have her on the Today's Show Monday?
Posted by Judith at March 4, 2007 05:00 AMjudith..matt lauer and the today show is all about short skirts..not news..so she may well be on
Posted by dennis at March 4, 2007 05:10 AMNagourney obviously missed the point.
Posted by Judith at March 4, 2007 05:11 AM"C'mon, it was a joke. I would never insult gays by suggesting that they are like John Edwards. That would be mean."
